What are zrazy? This is a delicious Lithuanian national dish, which is known since the XIV century. This is any whole-meat with a filling of eggs and vegetables. Zrazy are spread in Ukraine (especially in Volhynia, which was part of Lithuania), in Belarus. To date, this dish is very popular in international restaurant cuisine and has many different options. To prepare meals, for example, carrots, onions, cabbage, eggs, rutabaga, potatoes, and sometimes even any cereals, in a word, any food product that is in the kitchen.

Advantages of cooking: the flexibility and speed of the composition, the ability to easily replace components. These qualities also contributed to the spread of the dish far beyond Lithuania.

In this article, let's talk about how to prepare zrazy with cheese. In this dish, you can use any cheese of a solid consistency.

Zrazy with cheese

To prepare this delicious and fast food, you will need only 50-60 minutes. And if you still have ready mashed potatoes, then the time will be spent even less.

Take three large potatoes, one egg, 100 grams of hard cheese, flour, vegetable oil, garlic, ground turmeric, salt.

Peel potatoes, wash and cook until done. Drain all the water, add turmeric, salt, and shake everything in a mash.

Wait until the mashed potatoes cool down, put two tablespoons of flour, protein and mix the potato dough. Cheese hard consistency on a fine grater.

Add the yolk, crushed garlic, salt and mix. The filling is ready.

Sprinkle a table or a flour cutting board. Make a flat cake from a potato dough. For each cake in the middle, place a teaspoonful of cheese filling.

Form zrazy, leaving the filling in the middle of the product. When all the potato zrazes are made , roll them in flour (can be in breadcrumbs). Now fry on vegetable oil on both sides.

Serve zrazy with sour cream, tomato or mushroom sauce, mayonnaise. You can sprinkle them with herbs and grated cheese.

Tip: Sprinkle with cheese until the zrazy is hot, then it will melt, which will have a good effect on the taste, and on the appearance of the dish.

Meat zrazy with cheese and greens

Prepare minced pork-beef, eggs, a roll in milk, fried onions, salt, spices.
For the filling, take the sliced cheese, greens, a spoonful of sour cream.

Make cakes, put the stuffing, carefully wrap.

Fry on high heat until crusty, put into a saucepan and send to the oven.

Zrazy with cheese and tomatoes

Prepare 800 grams of pork forcemeat, two pieces of white bread, one onion, one clove of garlic, one egg, 200 grams of Dutch cheese, 150 grams of ham, one tablespoon of dried tomatoes, three tablespoons of vegetable oil, two tablespoons of table flour Chopped parsley, pepper, salt.
Rinse the bread. Finely chop the peeled garlic and onions. Mix with minced meat, bread crumbs, egg, pepper and salt.

Cheese grate on a large grater, dried tomatoes and ham thinly cut. Mix cheese with ham, tomatoes, parsley and black pepper in a bowl.

From the meat mass, form cakes. Put on each filling (in the middle), connect the edges. Now put it on a baking sheet and send it to the oven.

Chicken zrazy with cheese

In order to prepare such zrazy, you need half a kilogram of chicken mince, two eggs, one onion, 100 ml of milk, 200 grams of ground breadcrumbs, 150 grams of grated cheese, basil in dry form, pepper, salt, 150 grams of vegetable oil for frying.

In the mince, add eggs, chopped onions, 100 grams of biscuits, milk, spices and mix thoroughly.

From the stuffing, form a cake with a diameter of about 8 cm, put a half teaspoon of grated cheese in the center and protect the edges. Apply the oval hands to the oval shape, then roll them in breadcrumbs and fry in vegetable oil until golden.

Serve zrazy with a garnish of fresh vegetables.

Eat potato zrazy with cheese both hot and cold.
