Vegetarianism. Pros and cons

Plato, Seneca, Pythagoras did not just prefer, but even preached vegetarianism as the only true method of nutrition. Later it took the form of a fashionable diet, and only now has vegetarianism evolved into a certain way of life or even philosophy. Vegetarians can be divided into strict vegetarians and lactovegetarians. Strict people do not eat fish, meat, eggs, milk and honey. Lactovegetarians allow themselves to eat any dairy products and eggs. There is also a separate flow of this culture - these are vegetarians who eat only fruits and various types of nuts.

Scientists claim that, whether we like it or not, it is simply necessary for the human body to have at least 30% of the animal protein in a regular diet. If you adhere to strict vegetarianism for many years, even an absolutely healthy person as a result will earn hypovitaminosis, a lack of zinc, iron and vitamins. Nutritionists strictly prohibit vegetarianism for children. Such food can irreversibly slow down the process of the child's physical development. Most likely, this is the strongest argument against vegetarianism. Americans also argue that giving up meat reduces the likelihood of cardiovascular disease and cancer by 90%. And the world-famous Dr. Irving Fisher conducted research and found that the endurance of a person who refused meat is more than 30% higher than that of quite healthy people who consume animal protein. In addition, it is necessary to take into account a very important fact. Before slaughter animals literally are spiked with a huge amount of chemicals, so the absolute benefits of such meat are also very, very doubtful.

Continuing the theme of "vegetarianism," for "and" against, "it is worthwhile to clarify that a large number of people choose such food instead of diets. Nutritionists recommend, scientists prove, but most importantly - do everything wisely. It's elementary. Vegetable salad in no way will give you the same chance to get better, like fried potatoes with chop, filled with tasty mayonnaise with fat content over 50%.

Many vegetarians have changed their food far from the pursuit of an ideal figure. Most of us, biting off a sausage or cutting a piece of fresh meat, do not think how much this nutritious joy came to your table. For the sake of satiety, animals are killed without stopping. It is important for you or not - this is everyone's business, but for people who abandoned meat, this plays a significant role. Therefore, the first thing that an experienced person will advise you is to think about the world around first, and about yourself later.
