Ingredients

For a shish kebab:

  • Pork ribs - 2 kg;

  • Lard (can be salted) - 250 g;

Preparation

Therefore, it should be protected so that when served on the table it is not very dirty. To do this, it must be thoroughly washed and cut into halves. Between them we put a small piece of fat, a little salted and wrapped in foil. At the same time, we pick up ribs with salt, pepper and chopped onions. Vegetables for caviar simply put in a travel bag together with a shish kebab and wrapped potatoes.

In nature we begin to build a fire to cook dishes on the fire. Recipes, photos and video instructions recommend using only coals, but in this case we need the entire combustion process.

Caviar

When the fire is just beginning to subside, but the firewood has not turned into full-fledged coals, it is fried eggplant, tomatoes and salad pepper. Then with vegetables, we remove the skin and three of them on a grater, along with onions and garlic. Add spices and vegetable oil to the mixture.

Barbecue

When the coals began to become covered with white ashes, they can begin to fry meat. Usually skewers are used for this dish on the fire, but a barbecue grill can also come up. The meat is fried until ready, then put into a large plate and sprinkled with herbs.

Potatoes

After the coals turned into ashes, they need to place the potato wrapped in foil. In this case, the layer of coals from above should be more than one centimeter. When the ash completely cools down and becomes warm, you can get the potatoes and serve them to the table.
