The drug is prescribed as an auxiliary in the treatment of acute or chronic rhinitis, regardless of whether it is of viral or bacterial origin. Use a spray to treat chronic and acute sinusitis, acute otitis media, vasomotor or allergic rhinitis.

Medicinal product "Tizin Xylo" for children: instruction for use

This drug can be used in the treatment of children, starting at the age of two, while using a 0.05% solution of the spray. If the child is more than 6 years old, as well as for adults, 0.1% medicine is used.

Up to 6 years of age, the child is given one injection in each nostril, applying a dosed spray, and so up to three times throughout the day. Adults and children over six years of age, the drug is administered up to three times a day, only its dose is more. The duration of the course of treatment should not exceed 3-5 days, and all depends on the physiological characteristics of the patient. If necessary, after a break of several days, you can resume treatment with spray again.

If the patient has chronic rhinitis, then the medicine "Tizin Xylo" can be used only under the supervision of an experienced doctor, since atrophy of the nasal mucosa may occur.

Contraindications to the use of the drug

- in the presence of dry inflammation of the mucosa of the surface of the nose,

- at the age to 2 years,

- with glaucoma.

The drug "Tizin Xylon" in pregnancy is also not recommended, as in the simultaneous treatment of tricyclic antidepressants and MAO inhibitors.

Possible side effects

In these cases, the stomach is washed, activated charcoal is taken, oxygen therapy and ventilation are performed. To reduce high blood pressure, 5 5 mg of phentolamine is injected slowly intravenously in solution or taken 100 mg orally. In this case, you can not use vasoconstrictors. If necessary, treatment is prescribed with anticonvulsants or antipyretics.
