Representatives of the fair sex with any figure can afford to sew a skirt-sun and look in it perfectly. Just need to consider some of the nuances: if your forms have an enviable volume, just lower the level of the klesh, then the thighs will appear already, than there is. For smart ladies, such a fabric pattern that expands downwards or just has a lot of small details is suitable - there should not be large spots on the top of the product. Owners of slender figures can choose a fabric with any pattern, the main thing is that it is symmetrical with respect to the center. Are good on thin silhouettes and kleshes from a lace.

It is best to select a pair of this part of the short topics or shirts from shiny fabric. Eastern note along will be added woven belts with brushes and bronze bracelets.

How to sew a sun-flared skirt ?

For work you will need:

  1. The cloth. Suitable light cotton, silk and even fine wool. If the width of the web is 140-150 cm, then take the length of the product + 20 cm for processing.
  2. Elastic band (elastic) 2-3 cm wide.
  3. Threads.
  4. A sheet of paper or a roll of unnecessary wallpaper for a pattern.
  5. Compass
  6. The long ruler.
  7. A tailor's chalk or a piece of soap.

Before sewing a skirt-sun, remove the measurements from the model. You will need a waist and hip circumference, as well as the length of the product. Pattern is a wide ring. Calculate the radii by formulas. The inner radius is half the length of the circle, multiplied by 3.14, and the outer radius is greater than the length of the skirt. Now build a pattern with a circular (small circle) and thread with a pencil attached to it (a large circle). The opposite end of the thread from the pencil is held in the center of the figure, and at this time you circle the bottom of the pattern in an even semicircle. It should be a semiring. The workpiece for the belt is a simple rectangle with a length equal to the waist circumference + 5 cm, width = 6 cm.

Fold in half the tissue cut along the lobes and attach the pattern so that the slices lie straight on the fold. Add centimetric allowances to the seams and circle the paper with chalk or a slice of soap. Belt is cut out along an oblique line, at an angle of 45 degrees to the share, so as not to stretch.

Now about how to sew a skirt-sun. Start from the waist, folding it along in half and shaking the short sides. Press the allowances inwards. Now align the top of the main part with the hole in the belt so that the edge of the skirt is inside it. Sweep the seam. Do not forget to just leave room for the gum.

Attach the details, insert a rubber band into the belt, place the insert with a hidden seam. Bend the lower edge and fix the hem in the same way. Now it remains only to iron out the finished thing and you can put it on!

Some subtleties:

  • If the hip circumference exceeds the width of the fabric, two lengths will have to be taken;
  • If the length of the skirt is planned to be maximum, in the floor, then it may take even 4 lengths. In this case, you will need to sew 4 seams;
  • When calculating the internal radius, no increment is taken into account;
  • Before you cut out the natural fabric, it must be stretched and ironed so that the finished skirt does not warp after the first wash. Synthetics do not need such training.
