In just six months he spent 26 matches, marking another goal when he noticed the German "Wolfsburg". "Wolves" gave eight and a half million euros for a young talented football player, and they never regretted it.

Ricardo Rodriguez immediately became the player of the base in the club - he spent 17 matches for Wolfsburg for six months, and from the next season began to win the role of a key player. In the next four seasons he went on the field 149 more times, marking in the amount of 20 goals. It was with the "Wolfsburg" defender won his first trophy - the German Cup in 2015. And it was in the camp of the "wolves" that Rodriguez became one of the strongest left-wing defenders in the world, thus attracting the attention of many top clubs, including even Madrid "Real". But so far the player has not dared to take such a serious step.

In the current season, he spent 10 matches for the "wolves", scoring one goal and giving one goal assist. Rodriguez left to play just two games to get around Siegfried Reich and enter the top ten of the club's record holders by the number of games played.

National team appearances

Ricardo Rodriguez is a football player, who is also an important part of the Swiss national team. There he debuted in October 2011 and has since played 44 matches, which scored one goal and scored six assists. Together with the team, he went to the World Cup in 2014, where in the first match he gave two assists, as well as the European Championship in 2016.
