Artem Cherny: football biography

Artem Cherny is a Ukrainian football player who now plays for Alexandria. He will turn 28 this year, so he is at the peak of his football development. Artem Cherny acts in the position of the left midfielder, but is a versatile person, since he can also play in the center of the field, in the position of a supporting midfielder or even a playmaker.

The beginning of a footballer's career

Artem Cherny was born on October 23, 1989 in Nikolaev, in the Ukrainian SSR. At the age of 13 he was screened and selected for a local club called "Nikolaev". Artem played for youth teams, trained, developed, and eventually in 2006 received an invitation to the main team, for which he immediately made his debut, although he was only sixteen. For two seasons he played for Nikolayev, played 48 games and scored four goals, after which he decided to go for promotion. In 2008, Artem Cherny moved to "Ilyichevets", but this step turned out to be absolutely incorrect, since in the new club there was no place for him at all.

Going to "Illichivets"

Artem Chorny is a footballer who was a local star in Nikolayev, a young genius, but unfortunately, when he moved to another club, he was not able to demonstrate himself as well. In the end, he played just eight games for the main lineup - and this is for the four years he spent at the club. Most of the time, Artem was in favor of a duplicate squad, but he naturally did not like it. Therefore, in the winter of 2012, he finally managed to leave the Ilyichevets, which became a symbol of failure for him, and return to his native Nikolaev.

Return to Nikolaev

Artem Cherny, whose biography turned out to be far from as bright and impressive as it was originally drafted, was able to pull itself together and begin to perform again at a high level. The club helped him and did not lose, because in two years the midfielder played 57 games, scoring seven goals. In the winter of 2014, his contract with the club came to an end, and Artem decided to try his hand at the new location once again. And he immediately moved to the club of the Higher League "Alexandria".

The game for "Alexandria"

Fortunately, this time the player did not have any problems with the adaptation to the new team, he quickly joined the club and played at a high level. Naturally, he does not appear on the field as often as in Nikolayev, nor is he here a star or key figure. For three years in the club, the midfielder played 52 games, scoring six goals. In the current season, he played 12 games and scored two goals scored. Such results demonstrate that the player is appreciated in the club and does not consider it unnecessary, as was the case with Illichevets. Therefore, there is a possibility that the cooperation between Black and "Alexandria" will last for a long time and will be fruitful.

It is also worth noting that for the national team of Ukraine at any level Artem has not played once. Unfortunately, the only period when he had a chance to challenge the youth team was too short, and Artem was not considered a full-fledged candidate.
