  • 1993/94 - Slaven (Bosnia);

  • 1999/01 - "Anji" (Makhachkala);
  • 2001/14 - CSKA Moscow (Moscow).

In the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elver Rahimich started to be involved since 2007. For the period from 2007 to 2013 he wore the T-shirt of the main team of his country in forty international matches.

Stages of football and coaching career

Football Elver Rahimich was engaged since childhood. He started his football career in the Bosnian club "Slaven", then for two seasons he played for the team "Bosna" (36 matches, 3 goals). In 1997, Rahimich tried himself in the Slovenian Championship (33 games, 6 goals), but after the end of the annual contract to extend the agreement did not. The next short stage of the football player's performance was the Austrian championship. Here, in a modest club "Forverts", he played only 6 fights.

It is not known how the future fate of the player would have developed if he had not once been in the field of view of Scouts of Makhachkala's Anji. At this time, the Russian club was actively looking for players who could strengthen the middle line of the team. Elver seemed a midfielder tenacious, staunch and enduring, just the one who could ideally approach the team, "Anji".

It so happened that since 1999, Elver Rahimich, whose biography was painted in dull colors, became a football player whose playing career began to go only up. Of the usual average player, who in Bosnia and Herzegovina abound, he turned into a football player of the national team of his country. Being a player of the Moscow "CSKA", Elver became involved in the main domestic and international successes of the capital club. But it will be later. In the meantime, Rahimich concluded his labor agreement with the Anzhi team, the representative of the first division of the championship of Russia.

For Makhachkala club he performed for two seasons. During this period, Elver played for Anji 84 matches, helped the team to win a ticket to the Premier League, to become the main and irreplaceable player of the club's main staff. Naturally, such a football player became the object of attention of teams that had (at that time) a tighter purse, rather than a modest "Anji". Many more clubs of the Russian championship have offered to offer more weighty arguments to the player. More convincing were the financial terms of the player's personal contract, received from the capital's "CSKA". With this team (in 2001) Rahimich signed a long-term agreement.

His debut fight for the new club he spent July 18, 2001 against Spartak. For 14 seasons of performances for the army team, Elver played 240 matches. Naturally, during this time he experienced both ups and downs. There were periods when a football player was losing ground at the base, unable to compete with younger players, sometimes injured. His last match Rahimich played on January 22, 2015. It was a friendly match, in which "CSKA" and "Frankfurt" met. In this meeting, he played his last four minutes at the highest football level.

And what did the football player Elver Rahimich remember with the fans? Goals to score are not his elements, technical equipment is not his destiny, he was not noticed in high-speed actions. But he had a player quality, which was not for other, more, at first glance, sophisticated players. He was a master of "tactical foul", he knew how to break the rules (roughly stop the attacking player) that his foul was not punished by a yellow card. Thanks to this method of struggle, he did not need to perform certain speedy actions. The main thing is to ably and in time apply the prohibited reception.

Coaching career Elver Rahimich started as an assistant coach, being a footballer of "CSKA". At one time he seemed to announce the end of active performances, then he continued to play. Before the World Cup 2014, Elver, confident of his participation in the World Cup, began to gain physical fitness through the matches of the Russian championship, play a lot, improve the high-speed conditions. But after learning that his place in the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is busy, he calmed down, switching to coaching.

Many are interested in the future fate of the former CSKA player, who was Elver Rahimich: where he now lives, what he does. According to the latest information, he lives in Moscow, works with young players of the Junior School "CSKA".

Trophies

In conclusion, we list the main awards and achievements of the player. All of them were obtained as part of the army club. Together with "CSKA" Rahimich became five-time champion of Russia, a seven-time winner of the Cup and five-time winner of the Super Cup of the country. But the main sporting trophy in the player's career is the European prize won in 2005: the UEFA Cup.

By the way, Elver Rahimich - the first foreign football player, played 250 fights of the championship of Russia.
