Salad "General": recipes with chicken, meat and just with vegetables

Among the variety of layered salads in second place (after the "coat", of course) is the salad "General". And this dish has several options, quite different in composition. In most cases, as already mentioned, the salad "General" is going to layers - but this is not an obligatory condition. The only thing that unites all "generals" dishes is invariably their good taste.

"General" with chicken

This is the most popular recipe. For him, chicken fillet is taken and cooked according to all the rules until soft - in salted water, with laurel and pepper-peas. In the cold form it is cut with neat pieces (disassembled into fibers will not look so aesthetically pleasing). The bulb is crumbled at the discretion of the cook - it is possible to have half rings, it can be finely, then marinade for five minutes in water with vinegar (proportion one to one). If you do not like the taste of vinegar - take a salad or sweet red onion. Three potatoes, five eggs and a couple of small beets are boiled and rubbed. There is a salad "My General" with a chicken in the following sequence:

  • chicken;
  • potato;
  • bow;
  • Eggs (divided into yolks and proteins are not necessary);
  • beet.

All layers are lubricated with mayonnaise. You can use it right away, but it's better to hold the watch in the fridge.

"My General" with cheese

Another very popular option. Instead of chicken, any other meat is taken. Most often it also boils, but you can bake in the oven - they say, with baked it turns out to be much more juicy salad "My General". The recipe includes also a boiled carrot. The order of interlayer is as follows:

  • Finely chopped meat, mixed with crushed garlic and mayonnaise (all the following layers are also lubricated with mayonnaise, so we will not mention more here).
  • Grated cheese, about a hundred grams.
  • Four grated steep eggs. In some variants of the recipe, it is advised to mix the eggs with crushed walnuts. It turns out delicious, so you can use the recommendation.
  • Two cooked carrots, again grated.
  • A scrap of two boiled beetroots.

This "General" salad should be held in the refrigerator necessarily - the pork with beef takes the juices of the remaining ingredients a little longer.

Dietary "General"

It can be cooked in the post, only then it is necessary to delete the eggs from the list and buy lean mayonnaise. Such a salad "General" is formed traditionally with layers, everything is smeared, except for the last one. The first is grated boiled potatoes, then radish, then - chopped onions (you can scald or marinate to remove excess bitterness), next - grated fresh carrots, top - apples (or sour or sweet and sour) and last - eggs. The result is a very light and delicious salad.

Approximate ratio of components: potatoes 200 grams, radishes - 300, one small onion, carrots - one, medium, two large apples, four eggs and a tube of mayonnaise. However, the proportions can be changed "for themselves."

"Marine General"

Adaptation specifically for seafood lovers. Among other things, this "General" salad is not layered - it should be stirred. Crab sticks crumble (200 gram pack, can be replaced with shrimp). With canned white beans, the liquid is drained. A large tomato is cut into cubes. This sea fantasy is tucked before the serving; In addition to mayonnaise, croutons are also added - purchased (with taste of onion and sour cream or cheese) or dried from white bread on their own. Especially piquant is the taste, if the creation of crackers sprinkle them with a mixture of lemon and garlic juice. You can supplement the sea salad "General" with grated cheese, and you need to sprinkle with greens.

Fish "General"

It turns out that there is one! Like the sea version, it is not puffed - and also needs breadcrumbs. However, in such a salad "General" (a recipe with a photo) the store will not work. Have a slice of "Borodino" bread neatly cut, pour with lean oil and dry it in the oven to make a crust on top, but inside the croutons remained a little soft. Grams of four hundred Peking cabbage are finely shredded. Gherkins (small, 200-gram can) cut in circles, two apples - cubes (immediately sprinkle with lemon, so as not to darken). Medium-sized herring, about one-third kilogram, is released from the skin and bones and cut into small slices. To refuel as small as possible cut a bunch of dill, mixed with sour cream and grain mustard (the ratio - at your discretion, if not so fond of hot, take sweet mustard). Pouring is mixed, the salad is refueled and decorated with fresh cucumbers, circles of lemon and greens. It should be noted that this recipe is especially welcomed by men as a snack.

Finally pay attention: the last two salads are served immediately, so that the crackers do not soften. If you have prepared a salad "General" with a reserve, you only need to fill in the croutons in the part that is put on the table.
