It was this mixture of zucchini, tomatoes and eggplants that won the heart of a strict cartoon culinary critic. So what is actually a famous ratatouille and how to cook it? The recipe is classic

Ratatouille - what is an unusual dish? I must say, there is nothing surprising in it. This dish is somewhat reminiscent of Hungarian lecho, only with the addition of Provencal herbs. It is these French spices that give the rataty divine taste. Without them, the dish loses all meaning and turns into an ordinary vegetable stew.

And let's try to prepare a traditional French ratatouille (the recipe is classic). It was this dish that the Provencal women fed their husbands and children. The recipe has been known for a long time, and therefore time-tested.

Cooking a traditional dish

Take the eggplant and cut it into thin slices. Pickle and leave for a while to get bitter. In the meantime cut as two zucchini and tomatoes (5 pieces). It will take 6 tomatoes, but one must be left for the sauce. But while the eggplant waits for its hour, you can do the dressing for the dish. Let's start preparing the sauce. Let's cut the onion and finely chopped onion into cubes, taking off the skin. Preheat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Lay the onion and saute it. Add two sweet peppers, green and red flowers, a tomato and a clove of garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper, put out for five minutes. On the next burner, heat water or broth, put tomatoes, salt, spices, spices. Bring to a boil and cook under the lid for ten minutes, then pour the pasta and cook until ready. It is not necessary to use a certain set of vegetables and spices for cooking stew, you can experiment with a classic recipe and get a delicious dish in the end. An unusual recipe with meat: ingredients

If you do not think your life without a piece of delicious meat, try cooking ratatouille with veal.

For this we take:

  • Veal - 200 grams.
  • Parmesan - 150 g.
  • Three bulbs.
  • Tomatoes - 6 pieces.
  • Two carrots.
  • 2 potatoes.
  • Bulgarian red pepper - 5 pieces.
  • Half of the zucchini.
  • Eggplant.
  • 150 grams of boiled water.

The dishes are covered with foil and put in a heated oven. Bake for about an hour at a temperature of 230 degrees. After that, remove the foil, sprinkle with cheese and bake for another five minutes.
