Potatoes deliver enough energy to our bodies, thanks to the fact that it has over twenty percent of "fast" carbohydrates in its composition. Potato stew - will give more benefit than, for example, fried. Ideally, of course, it is best to use it as a side dish with the addition of fresh vegetables - tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, green beans, cauliflower. But, in addition, you can eat this vegetable as an independent dish, for example, baked potatoes, the recipe of which is very light, at the same time and very useful for the body.

Potato stew with chicken

  • Five servings;
  • Kilogram of potatoes;
  • Three medium carrots;
  • Two onions;
  • Two spoons of tomato paste;
  • Butter;
  • Chicken fillet half a kilogram;
  • Condiments;
  • Green onions and fresh herbs.

Chicken fillet cut into thin strips of no more than three centimeters and fry in a pan until crust. We peel potatoes and cut them into slices. In the pot, put the sliced potatoes and fried chicken, pour water in such a way that it completely covers the food. We extinguish five minutes on high fire and ten on weak. While the potatoes are stewed, cleaned and cut into small cubes onion, clean and three carrots. Onions and carrots must be fried in a frying pan with butter until ready, that is, until the orange color of the used oil, then add tomato paste, a little water and put out a couple of minutes. When the vegetables are ready, add them to the pot to the potatoes and chicken, stew for ten more minutes. Ready to put the dish on a plate and decorate with green onion feathers and various fresh herbs, on the basis of the liquid in which the potatoes were stewed you can make a wonderful sauce.

Potato stew with meat and mushrooms

  • Seven servings:
  • Potatoes are fresh kilogram;
  • Mushrooms champignons fresh four hundred grams;
  • Pork or beef four hundred grams;
  • Onion two pieces;
  • Three carrots;
  • Butter;
  • Sour cream;
  • Tomato paste.

Fresh potatoes are washed in water and peeled, cut into cubes or slices and fried in a frying pan. Fresh mushrooms are also washed and cleaned, cut into cubes and stewed with potatoes under the lid with a little water for about ten minutes. Cut the meat into cubes and fry, then add to the potatoes and mushrooms. We extinguish another ten minutes. Onions and carrots are cleaned and cut into cubes, carrots can also be grated on a fine grater. Fry in a pan with butter and tomato paste. We add to the potato, when it is almost ready. At the very end, three minutes before the readiness, we add a couple of spoons of sour cream, stir, warm up. Served with fresh herbs as a separate dish for lunch or for dinner, although for thin people this dish is best consumed in the morning.

Potato stew - in itself a very satisfying and heavy dish. When it is prepared with components such as mushrooms and potatoes, there is an increased load on the digestive system, so if you have gallbladder, stomach and pancreas diseases, then this dish is not recommended for eating very often.
