The most common type of disease is a lesion of the ternary nerve. The reasons for its development may be banal body hypothermia, trauma of a particular area or infection. No less frequent occurrence of neuralgia of the ternary nerve after visiting the dentist, if it was not neat enough, or due to severe toothache. There is pain when external factors affect the affected surface, for example, using too hot or icy fluid. The body of the patient before the attack is covered with shivers, and then comes a sharp pain, the duration of which is low.

There is also an intercostal type of disease. Neuralgia of the pterygoid node is considered to be the heaviest, since it starts completely suddenly. The attack can awaken a sleeping person with severe pain in the temples, eyes and neck, which gradually descends to the forearms. This disease is considered more complicated, since the duration of the attack reaches several days. The treatment of neuralgia with the help of medications is universally applied. Typically, a specialist appoints patients painkillers that can significantly ease the period of another attack. Recently, blockades have been actively used on novocaine, but they can be placed only by a doctor who has the appropriate knowledge and skill level. As an adjunct, neuralgia is treated with physiotherapy procedures, the action of which is based on the use of small-charge current pulses or ultraviolet radiation in a certain dose.

Modern medicine offers various ways of treating such a disease, based on the lack of drugs. For example, acupuncture, osteopathy and manual therapy are widely used . Treatment with special needles was first introduced in the eastern countries, and then spread to the west. Its essence lies in the impact on certain points: special needles are injected a certain distance under the skin. It is believed that such an effect on the points can significantly ease not only the attack of the disease, but the entire course of its course.

But the fastest and high-quality technique is osteopathy, because it is this method that can get rid of the cause of the disease, thanks to which the displaced vertebrae become in place and the blood flow to the brain normalizes. Thus, the patient has a chance to get rid of the problem that tormented him.

Neuralgia in children is most often due to violations during the birth process. Thus, during labor, cerebral hemorrhage or displacement of children's vertebrae that are not yet strong can occur. Neuralgia in newborns can be diagnosed already in the first few hours of a baby's life. For example, there are convulsions or a nervous tic of the face. If the disease is recognized in time, it can be cured without risking the child's life.
