How to cook lean cake

From delicious baking, especially from cakes is very difficult to refuse, but at the same time, afraid to gain extra pounds. In this article we will tell you how to bake a low-calorie lean cake that will not only be tasty, but also useful. The first recipe is rather a snack, it can be cooked even for holidays.

Nourishing and lean vegetable cake

To prepare this snack we need the following products: mushrooms champignons (canned) - half a kilogram, cabbage leaves - about twelve pieces, one onion head, several carrots, red Bulgarian pepper, one hundred grams of walnuts, half a cup of wheat flour, two glasses of mineral water, Three teaspoons of vinegar (you can apple), fresh herbs (dill, coriander, parsley) and vegetable oil.

Let's start cooking. Carefully separate the cabbage leaves from the head, lightly beat them and put them into a pot of water. There we add the necessary amount of acetic acid and boil for no more than ten minutes, not letting the leaves boil. After the time has elapsed, the water must be drained and the cabbage leaves rinsed in running water.

We make claret from flour and mineral water - it is slightly podsalivaem. By consistency, our dough should resemble thick sour cream. Next, in a heated frying pan, pour a little vegetable oil, we fry cabbage leaves, previously dipped each in cooked batter. We put fried leaves on a napkin to stack excess fat.

Preparing the filling: fresh mushrooms washed well and cut into four parts, finely shinkem onions, greens and squeeze garlic. All products must be put out on vegetable oil. Separately on a large grater we rub carrots and passer it, then merge excess oil and spread the carrots to the rest of the ingredients. Within two minutes we languish on low heat - we drain excess liquid.

We form vegetable lean cake: on a wide dish we put fried cabbage leaf, we put on it a mushroom filling, we carry out similar actions with all the leaves. Each layer should be pressed lightly. Sprinkle the top of the cake with crushed walnuts. We put it for half an hour in a cold place so that it soaks. Try very tasty, quick and non-nutritious.

The cake "Napoleon" without eggs

To prepare the cake: a kilogram of flour, two hundred grams of mineral water, vegetable oil - not less than two hundred grams, a pinch of citric acid and a little salt.

For the cream: two hundred grams of almonds, one and a half liters of soy milk, a glass of semolina, one hundred grams of granulated sugar, two lemons, a few sachets of vanillin.

We knead the dough for lean cake: in the sifted flour (to make the dough gorgeous, the flour must first be sifted), add the vegetable oil, salt and citric acid. The resultant dough is set to cool for half an hour.

Then divide it into twelve equal parts. While rolling out one square of dough, the rest should be kept in a chilled place. Roll out the rinsed layers neatly with a rolling pin to a greased baking tray / mold and bake for no more than five minutes until a beautiful golden crust is formed.

The process of preparing the cream: pour almonds with boiling water so that the skin easily moves away from the nut, then carefully crush it in a blender with sugar.

Boil soy milk in advance , put crushed almonds into it, as soon as the mass begins to increase, pour in semolina with a thin trickle and, without stopping stirring, cook to a thick consistency.

While the custard cools, rub the lemon peel, removed from the lemon, and its pulp, separated from the seeds, grind in a blender. Then mix with a creamy mass.

We collect lean cake: we need eleven cakes, we leave the twelfth for decoration. Each cake is sandwiched with lemon-custard, tightly pressing together.

The last cake is coated with a thin layer of cream - give fifteen minutes to soak, then put something heavy on it, such as a wooden board, and send it to the cold for a day. After that carefully trim the edges and once again cover the upper cake with cream and sprinkle with crumbs. Our "Napoleon" is ready for use - try it, it does not differ from the classical version of cooking.

As you understand, lean cakes can be cooked in various interpretations, with different fillings: vegetable, fruit and berry. And most importantly, they are low-calorie, this dish can be cooked even in Lent, because It does not contain products of animal origin.
