In a couple of steps there is also a two-meter stone rock, on which (according to local enterprising citizens) Nina sang Shuriku song about the bears. Such cheating for a long time did not bother numerous connoisseurs and fans of the film: they claimed that this place has not the slightest relation to the stone where the "Caucasian captive" was filmed: in the Crimea, fortunately, very recognizable landscapes.

They were discovered relatively recently and found an "authentic boulder": it is also located relatively close to the "Nikulinsky Nut", just a hundred meters away. But it would be problematic to scramble for it now: the terrain was overgrown with wild rose and blackberries. With their thorns, tourists do not burn with a special desire to get acquainted closer.

The atmosphere shown in the film really resembles the interior of the restaurant mentioned, but, nevertheless, it's just scenery.

Recognizable places

Several years ago in Simferopol the film "Following the" Caucasian Captive "was shot. In it, the events of 50 years ago have been documented very accurately and reliably.

So, the episode in which Comrade Saakhov gets acquainted with the main character, was actually shot in Alushta. Many are trying to find an appropriate building in Alushta and even claim that this is a building of local police, but in reality only the crowd was filmed in the city, and everything else was properly decorated by the courtyard of the film studio.

Remake

In 2014, a remake of a famous comedy was released on the screens, for which the general producer of the picture Fyodor Bondarchuk together with the director Maxim Voronkov received a storm of destructive criticism. If Gaydai preferred to film his film in Crimea, then the place where the "Caucasian Captive-2" was filmed is the mountains that appear in the title. In this there is nothing surprising (sarcastically commentators), given that the customer and the main sponsor of filming was the company "Resorts of the North Caucasus". Following the best European experience, the company decided to attract tourists in such a way: to show captivating mountain species, to create a positive image of the region, etc., etc.

Filming took place also near the village of Ordzhonikidzevsky (Karachay-Cherkessia). In the process of filming, many ignorantly called the film a continuation of the famous comedy. Of course, this is not the case: the script almost completely repeats the original - the creators of the picture offer viewers to laugh at jokes known from childhood, but the quality of their performance, unfortunately, does not compare with what was filmed almost half a century ago.
