The film "Cool Georgia": actors, roles and plot

Rachel forgot what a family is. And she thought that the trip to Georgia would only exacerbate everything. She did not even imagine that during the stay in a small town in her life there will be big changes. Such a story happened to the heroine of the film "Steep Georgia", the actors, roles and the plot of which will be discussed in this article.

Silent Hull

The girl Rachel is too spoiled and ill-mannered to obey her mother. Therefore, when she sends her to visit her grandmother in the small town of Hull, Rachel, of course, rides, but her behavior horrifies the entire local population. For example, she seduces an almost married guy, gives no rest to the local veterinarian, rude to the inhabitants and walks around the city in a defiant outfit. And only in the house of her own grandmother, Georgia, she has to behave decently and observe certain rules.

Maybe not immediately noticeable, but Rachel has long been troubling something. And only here she reveals the mystery that has been tormenting her for a long time. But, given the fact that the girl often deceives, few believe her. And only two people know the real truth.

"Cool Georgia": actors and characters

Despite the fact that the film is named after Granny, the main character here is still her granddaughter Rachel. A relaxed, shameless, bitchy and rude girl played in the film "Steep Georgia" by Lindsay Lohan. Her manner of behavior may, and is considered acceptable for Californian youth, but certainly not for such a quiet and peaceful place, which is the town of Hull.

But strictly to judge it is not worth it, Rachel is not from a good life. From the very childhood she did not have enough attention of her parents. And it's not just that. Once she had a very unpleasant incident, and the girl is ready to share her experiences. But will they listen to her?

Her mother is not a good listener. Lilly, whose role went to the film "Steep Georgia" by Felicity Huffman, is more interested in her own life. So Rachel was a burden to her, otherwise she would not have sent her to visit her mother, whom she had not visited for about 12 years. Rachel is too complicated a teenager, and Lilly wants to spend more time with her young and wealthy husband.

The House of Georgia (Jane Fonda) is the place where they eat, fall asleep and wake up on a schedule where they do not sit around, and rest is given a minimum of time. Such a woman rules. Perhaps, because of this, her relatives have not visited her for a long time. Nevertheless, Georgia often has neighbor children, who, despite her strictness, like to spend time with her. She, of course, builds them, scolds and even forces them to work in the garden, but their departure would most likely upset the woman.

Alien Place

To outsiders are always treated with caution, even if they behave modestly. But with Rachel in a different way. The girl did not even think of courting, but she immediately showed her disgusting character. Nevertheless, she managed to win the friendship of two people. They would be five for humanity, because men could accept it as it is.

They were both the first whom she met. Harlan (Garret Hedlund) was immediately subjected to cruel and merciless seduction. But he protects himself for his future wife. Now he is tortured by the torture of conscience and the question: tell everything or keep silent.

Dr. Simon Ward (Dermot Mulroney) was stronger than the guy, but he is twenty years older than he is. Still, Rachel found a way to get him into trouble. A man works in a local veterinary clinic, so why not get a job there? Surely his customers will be happy to talk with the new secretary.

Best role

The main advantage of the picture in a masterly chosen cast. At least that's for Rachel. In the film "Cool Georgia" Lindsay Lohan seemed to play herself. After all, the character and behavior of the actress herself will be pohlesche than her character. But in this case it only benefited her, helped to create a more believable image. However, the other actors who shot in the film "Steep Georgia" seem to have coped with the task.

So again I want to note that the name "Steep Georgia" does not quite fit this film. No, Georgia, of course, is cool - it perfectly controls the bat, makes washing your mouth with soap lovers foul language and requires strict adherence to its strict rules. But the film "Steep Georgia" is not about her, but about her granddaughter, who, in the presence of close relatives, did not feel them around.

And this is the problem of the film "Steep Georgia". The actors played well. But the script they followed has some ambiguity. First show the confrontation of the granny and her unbearable granddaughter. As one creates rules, and the other breaks them. But by the middle there is a new story, which the first part completely allocates to the background. Very unexpected. But maybe it was?
