A few rules for a good housewife

Do you dream that your clothes look as new as possible? Be sure to check all things for stains before each washing. Often get rid of them after the clothes have been in the typewriter, is no longer possible. Therefore, first cleaning and only then - washing.

Any hostess knows that spotting is most effective if the footprint is still fresh. For example, juice of a cherry or a beet you with ease delete, simply having washed a tissue under a strong stream of cold water.

Vegetable oil, mayonnaise and other types of fats leave stubborn stains, especially on synthetic fabrics. However, if you fill the salt with a fresh mark, the trace will become less noticeable. And if you put a napkin under the stain and iron it with a hot iron on top, it is quite possible that cleaning or washing will not be necessary any more. This method is especially good for wool, linen, denim, dense cotton.

If you get rid of the fat stain with the help of salt failed, ammonia will come to the rescue. They need to wipe the cloth several times. After processing, things are erased as usual.

Quite often the removal of greasy spots begins with the treatment of the fabric with degreasing compounds, for example denatured alcohol. Note that such substances often discolour fabric dyes.

The trace from the oil paint is difficult to remove by yourself. But if you decide to do this, be sure to start removing stains from the sample on the fabric. Often, acetone or white spirit not only removes the paint, but also removes the color from the fibers of the fabric. Especially it concerns synthetics. Therefore, to begin, wipe the area with the composition from the wrong side to see if the solvent will damage your clothes. Excess paint can be gently scraped off with a blade or a sharp knife. Note that solvents have an oily base and also leave spots. Therefore, after all traces of paint you have removed, wipe this place with a solution of ammonia. After that, you can put on the stain "" Vanish ", and after a couple of hours to wash.

As a rule, removing stains from chocolate, tea or coffee does not seem difficult even for inexperienced housewives. Most modern washing powders cope with this problem "with a bang." But on white fabrics sometimes traces nevertheless remain. To get rid of them, use any means with a clarifying effect. Soda, trisodium phosphate, chlorine, thiourea are suitable for soaking cotton and linen fabrics (bed linens, tablecloths, towels). Lemon juice and wine vinegar is well used for knitwear and thin fabrics, such as cambric or chiffon.

By the way, all the above methods are quite suitable for removing stains from grass and red wine.

Removing stains from zelenki, perhaps, is the only option in which I would advise you not to hurry up with washing. Leave the thing lying there for three or four days, and the trail will be almost invisible. After that, you can safely remove the stain from the green with the help of "Vanish Oxi Action". If this method seems too costly for you, try a 10% ammonia solution . For white fabrics, citric acid, vinegar or usual bleach will do.

By the way, this advice is relevant for another popular antiseptic - iodine. Being volatile, it evaporates from the tissue almost completely, leaving only a barely noticeable yellowish trace.

I note that the removal of stains with stain removers also requires attention and accuracy. First of all, you must strictly follow the instructions. Do not forget that the stain remover should be pre-tested on a small piece or on any part of the fabric from the inside.
