Leonid Razvozzayev: biography, photo, wife, family

Before the events that took place on Bolotnaya Square, the name of Leonid Razvozzhayev was known to few. But a wave of protests and riots, sweeping the capital of Russia in 2011-2012, turned everything upside down. From an ordinary public figure Leonid Razvozzhayev turned into a political criminal, who was plotting a coup d'état.

However, how true are the accusations put forward to him? Could Razvozzhaev be involved in the conflict on Bolotnaya Square? And what is generally known about this person?

Razvozzhaev Leonid: biography of the early years

The future public figure was born on June 12, 1973. It happened in Angarsk, that in the Irkutsk region. His first training began at school number 4. Of all the variety of subjects of the favorite was always physical education. After all, not without reason at a young age Leonid Razvozzhayev was a member of the Angarsk section of boxing and even played in local competitions.

At the end of school I entered the vocational school to get a specialty "gas electric welder". But instead of starting to improve in his profession, he decided to open his own business. In addition, in 1993, he began to work part-time in the newspaper "Independent Review".

In 1997, he was interrogated as a witness in a robbery case. So, somebody Vyacheslav Skudenkov was stolen 500 caps of pure fur, which at that time cost a considerable fortune. It would seem that there is something special? But 15 years later this case will be reopened, and Leonid Razvozzhayev will be the main suspect in it.

In 1998, he joined the opposition movement of the left. It is this moment that is considered a turning point in the fate of the future activist. After all, he acted differently, perhaps, his fate would have developed quite differently.

Moving to Moscow

In 2003, Leonid Razvozzhayev decides to move to Moscow. In the beginning, he got a job as a driver from the deputy of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Ilya Ponomarev. But soon the post of a simple driver tired him, and Leonid began to try himself in politics.

The first significant victory was the entry into the apparatus of the party "Motherland". According to official documents, he worked there from 2005 to 2007. In passing, Leonid Razvozzhayev continued to work to promote the influence of the Left Front. In particular, in 2004 he became one of the founding fathers of the "Youth Left Front" movement.

In 2011, Razvozzhayev becomes chairman of the Trade Union of Trade and Service Workers. And in October 2012, he makes his way to the Council of the Left Forces. Alas, it was his last victory, after which a series of bitter defeats followed.

The story of one betrayal

In early October 2012, the Russian television channel NTV released a film called Anatomy of Protest 2. This picture revealed a secret conspiracy, woven in order to raise a wave of unrest in the Russian capital. In support of this theory, the authors of the tape offered an undeniable proof - a video recording of the very meeting at which the fate of the country was decided.

The main actors were Givi Targamadze, Mikhail Iashvili, Leonid Razvozzhayev and Sergei Udaltsov. All of them attended the secret meeting that took place in Minsk in the second half of June 2012.

After the publication of the material, the management of the Investigative Committee brought charges against the participants of this meeting. And although not everyone believed in the truthfulness of this film, the police still received an order to arrest Leonid Razvozzhayev.

Flight to Ukraine

According to the summaries of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Razvozzhayev was announced in the federal search on October 19, However, the activist provided for such a turn of events and fled to Ukraine. But at an opposition rally in the Russian capital on October 20, the people were told that the fugitive was caught.

So, according to the version of the left forces, Leonid Razvozzhayev was captured by unknown persons wearing masks when he approached the office of the UN High Commissioner in Kiev. And only after a day he was taken to Moscow, where he was illegally charged. According to information provided by Ilya Ponomarev, Leonidas was convicted that evening in the Basmanny Court, depriving him of the right to a lawyer.

However, the Russian Interior Ministry soon provided other information. They assured that Leonid returned to Russia of his own free will, which is confirmed by the testimony of Ukrainian customs officers. Then he appeared in the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and wrote a confession of guilt.

Statement on pressure from law enforcement agencies

Soon after the arrest of Leonid Razvozzhayev, there was information on the network that he had been tortured. Only because of this, he pleaded guilty and now requires a second trial. However, on October 22, Anton Tsvetkov visited the prisoner and, he said, he did not find any signs of torture. Representatives of medicine made a similar statement. According to their examination, there are simply no injuries and abrasions on Razvozzhaev's body.

And yet, rumors of torture and mockery of the activist now and then appeared on the net. But at the same time, Razvozzhayev himself did not receive any official complaint about the illegal actions of law enforcement agencies.

Sentence

In July 2014, the Moscow court sentenced Leonid Razvozzhayev to 4.5 years in prison. Also, a fine of 150,000 Russian rubles was imposed on him. The re-examination of the case or UDO at the moment is not projected.

Leonid Razvozzhayev: family

In the end, I want to talk about one more important moment - about the activist's family. Leonid Razvozzhayev and Yulia Smirnova were a happy family, raising two beautiful children. The accusation of her husband became fatal for them.

After all, even after the sentence was passed, Julia could not believe that Leonid was involved in high treason. And although she is unable to change the current order of things, she is not going to leave her husband in this period.
