Plastic panels in the bathroom, the installation of which assumes the presence of a crate, is made in the area of the corners according to the same scheme as described above, but other fixing elements are used instead of the adhesive composition. It is recommended to start from the corner, gradually moving towards the window or the opening. If there is a need to extend the life span of the wooden elements of the birch system, it is necessary to treat their surface with a special compound that protects the material from insects and mold.

Preparation before installation of a steel frame

Installation of plastic wall panels can also be made on a steel frame. This is true for brick walls and those that are based on slag blocks. At the base of the frame will be a zinc-plated profile. Before starting to work with him to prepare a much more extensive set of tools, among them:

Before starting to equip walls from plastic panels, along the perimeter of the wall, a guide profile of the UD type is installed. After the same scheme, a CD-type profile is set horizontally. Fastening of furnish on a steel crate

The first plate should be carefully inserted into the profile of the UD-type and on a wide shelf fixed in several places with a CD-profile. The next decorative item is inserted into the shelf of the previous one and fixed with screws. In order to pass the corners, it is necessary to apply plastic guides, which are fixed to the crate. If the width of the final panel is large, then it must be trimmed carefully with a knife, and then put into the finishing element.

Fastening of plastic panels to the ceiling

We fix plastic panels to the wall and to the ceiling using the same technology. If there is no need to conduct communications and lighting on the ceiling, then glue can be used. Preliminary the plate must be well washed and covered with a primer. If it is supposed to work with concrete overlap and on it it is necessary to install lighting fixtures, then from its surface it is necessary to measure about 12 cm and install the UD-profile.
