Once you have purchased an empty lot, the first thing you need to build for it is a shed. With their own hands to build the very first building, which eventually turns into a bathhouse, guest house or summer kitchen - this can be equated with a real feat.

To begin with, let's figure out what it is and how to build a cabins with your own hands. Any temporary structure of a small size, with windows and doors made of wood or metal, fits this definition. The next stage will be the production of the laths from the timber on the walls and ceiling of the container. Now we insert the window unit and fill all the slots with mounting foam. If you want, that you had a winter shed, with your own hands, insulate it with foam or mineral wool. When cutting pieces of the right size, insert them into the cells of the crate. Top with a vapor barrier material. The interior walls and ceiling can be made of plastic panels, chipboard, gypsum board, fiberboard or lining. If necessary, additional wall finishing is made according to your choice. Suitable coating varnish, paint or wallpapering wallpaper.

The floor should also be insulated. We lay the logs out of the boards placed on the edge. Between them we have waterproofing, insulation and vapor barrier. We close the finishing floor of boards or thick plywood, which is covered with paint or linoleum.

Be sure to bring electricity to the shed, make one central luminaire and several side lamps. If you intend to use this premise for a long enough period of time, you need to take care of ventilation. The ideal solution to cool air in the hot summer and uniform heating in cold winter will be a split system. The external unit in this case is attached to the wall of the cabins on the side of the street, and the inner one is located in a convenient place in the room.

After all the work is done, it remains only to arrange the furniture inside, to lay mats and carpets and hang beautiful curtains. A metal shed, made by your own hands, will serve you for many years. It will become a beautiful guest house or a great children's room.
