Igor Kvasha: biography, filmography, photo, cause of death, family, wife

Igor Kvasha, photo and biography of which is presented in this article, was born in 1933, on February 4, in the city of Moscow. He lost his father early enough at the age of 9. Igor's father, Kvasha Vladimir Ilich, died in 1942 on the Leningrad front.

Childhood of Igor Kvasha

Igor Vladimirovich's childhood fell on the hard years of the war and the postwar period. Being in Siberia in the evacuation, the boy and his friends wanted to help the Red Army. The guys could not think of anything better than going to the front, escaping from the teachers. However, they did not manage to implement the plan.

This was not the only act of Kwashi, which can be called reckless. The main feature of the future actor in his childhood was by no means diligence. Igor skipped classes, often fought, and when he came to school, he was the violator of order. The other disciples were not better off with the will of fate, and one day the patience of the teachers came to an end. It was decided to disband the class in which Igor Vladimirovich studied.

Life without a father reflected in a special way on the formation of the character of Kvasha. His mother had to work hard. She could not keep track of her son all the time. As a result, the child was left to himself, as well as the influence of the street. Only outside seem quiet Arbat lanes. At the time of Igor Kwashi's childhood, it was a bandit district, he had to steadfastly defend his primacy.

The first manifestations of artistic talent

Hooligan lifestyle, it would seem, is not very compatible with the theater, but Igor already in these years began to show artistic talents. He often read poetry at school evenings, and his mother tried to accost his son to the theater environment. From time to time she led Igor to the plays. After the House of Pioneers appeared in his life with the theater studio in it, the boy gradually abandoned all his court entertainments, as he spent a lot of time now taking away his acting skills.

Training in the Moscow Art Theater and work in the "Contemporary"

Igor Kvasha in 1950 was enrolled in the School-Studio of the Moscow Art Theater to A.M. Karevu. His youthful years, according to the actor himself, were in great difficulty. For 10-12 hours the study lasted. It would seem that there was no time for rest, but young people knew how to have fun, trying to use maximum free time. Igor was fond of sports, beautiful drawing. Equestrian sports, he began to engage in the college years, received the 2nd rank. In addition, Igor Vladimirovich was fond of football, tennis, hockey.

After getting acquainted with O. Efremov, the idea of the Sovremennik Theater appeared, which is very well known today, and the enthusiasts began to rehearse not only for days but also nights.

The newly created "Contemporary" turned out to be a real breakthrough for its time. First of all, in those years theaters could not have arisen without the knowledge of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers. And the initiative of their creation proceeded mainly from the top management. In addition, many productions of "Contemporary" became a real challenge to the whole structure of the USSR, and therefore not all plays could withstand the hard censorship of that time.

First marriage

Two marriages were in the life of I. Kwashi. The first was rather fleeting. While still a student, I married actress Svetlana Misery Igor Kvasha. His wife studied at the same school as Igor, so they were familiar from childhood. After admission to one university they decided to register their relationship. This marriage, however, lasted only a year. Igor Kvasha was again a bachelor in the second year.

The opinion of the virulence and amorousness of creative people is very common today. However, such a characterization hardly applies to Igor Kvashi. He had a strong family, but he did not part with his wife until his death.

Igor Kvasha and his family

The meeting with the second future wife, Tatiana Putievskaya, took place in 1956. The couple have been inseparable ever since. Galina Volchek's colleague Kvasha promoted their acquaintance and the beginning of relations. Tatiana has nothing to do with the acting environment, but she successfully realized herself in the medical field. Son Vladimir followed in the footsteps of his mother. He graduated from the doctor, but today he decided to leave medicine because of financial difficulties and to do business. Vladimir Igorevich gave his father two grandchildren. Igor Kvashi's granddaughter Anastasia was born in 1992, and the grandson Michael was born in 1995.

Oblivion and return to the screens

The paintings in which Kvasha was shot in the 1960's and 70's almost did not appear on the screens. The fact is that in those years there was an unspoken "black list". The actor became objectionable to the Soviet authorities, primarily because of the circle of communication. The regime of the USSR was disagreeable Vasily Aksenov, Viktor Nekrasov and Vladimir Voinovich. In addition, Kvasha was one of the protesters who signed the protest. He spoke, in particular, against the introduction of Soviet tanks into Czechoslovakia.

However, the situation soon changed. Igor Kvasha since 1970 began to broadcast a series of poetic programs on the radio. He read the poems of famous Russian poets: M.Yu. Lermontov, A. S. Pushkin, V. V. Mayakovsky, etc. In addition, he recorded the radar of Boris L. Pasternak "Doctor Zhivago" and M. A. Bulgakov " White Guard ".

Working in a movie

At the same time, he actively began to act in films. Actor Kvasha Igor in the period from 1970 to 2012 took part in 66 paintings. Among them were the classic films "The very Munchausen" and "The Man from the Boulevard of the Capuchins".

In 1961, Igor Vladimirovich made his debut in the military drama "In a difficult hour" by Ilya Gurin. He played a soldier Senju. And the first major work of his is the role of the young Karl Marx in the film "Year as Life" by Grigory Roshal. Igor Kvasha, whose filmography is significant, admitted that with a special interest played this role. He believed that Karl Marx was an outstanding man, one of those who overturn the worlds. Directors in the future repeatedly invited him to the role of Marx.

In the 1970s and 1980s, the actor noted remarkable works. It was at this time on the screens that came out: the sports drama "The lot", the comedy "Straw Hat", the melodrama "Just Sasha", "The very Mühnghausen" (the film fairy tale), "The Sleuth" (adventure detective), "The Man from the Boulevard of the Capuchins" ( Comedy) and "Fairy tales of the old wizard". Igor's heroes were unique, always different. They irritated and surprised, forced them to love and hate ...

Igor Kvasha, whose biography is marked by participation in many films, considers Stalin's role in the film "Under the Sign of Scorpio" by Yuri Sorokin, published in 1995, to be his best film work. Igor Vladimirovich noted that this is perhaps his only role, to which he can look from the outside as if he were not on the screen, but someone else.

Roles in the theater

However, Igor Vladimirovich always remained primarily an actor of the theater. Kvasha himself admitted that his theater was invariably in the first place. He was often invited to screen test, but he refused, thinking that the movie would interfere with work in the theater.

Igor Vladimirovich performed in his native "Contemporary" about 50 roles. The most famous of them are the first minister in the "Naked King", Gaev in Chekhov's "Cherry Orchard", Joseph Stalin in "The Black Swallow's Flight ...". In addition, he played in the performances of "Windsor Mockers", "Cyrano de Bergerac", "Three Sisters", "Karamazov and Hell", etc. Also Igor Kvasha tried himself in the theater as a director.

Transfer "Wait for me"

Our compatriots Kvasha also remembered as the host of the program "Wait for me". Igor Kvasha always missed someone else's pain. He saved people in real life, and not just in the program "Wait for me." One day during a holiday at sea, a storm was raging, during which he pulled a sinking boy from the water. Igor Kvasha with full dedication led his transfer. One day during the filming, he was so touched that he had to go backstage, where he cried for several minutes. Igor Kvasha then asked the directors to remove this episode, but the spectators, seeing the turned and stumbled leader, still caught the flour that he experienced at that moment. Igor Vladimirovich was concerned with another's grief with sincerity and genuine experience, passing through himself an incredible number of dramas and tragedies of outsiders to him. We can only marvel at how much courage, strength, love and patience you need to have in order to find the right words that can soothe the sobbing relatives that have found each other.

Igor Kvasha himself admits that he got on this transfer quite by accident. However, it seems that there is some kind of providence in it, thanks to which it was such a sincere, open person who became its leader.

"Return Point"

Igor Vladimirovich published a book of memoirs in 2007 entitled "The Return Point". In it, he shared his memories of childhood, film work and theatrical productions, allowed readers a little peek behind the scenes.

Kwashi's disease and his death

The actor in recent years suffered from problems associated with bronchial tubes. Because of this, even had to cancel the tour of the beloved "Contemporary". Nevertheless, colleagues hoped that Igor Vladimirovich will recover and again appear on the scene in the season, the jubilee for him.
