Many films, dubbing and voice acting of which the actor was engaged, in his own words, made an incredible impression on him. For example, the most memorable was the work on the film "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol", where the actor dubbing worked on the voice of Renner.

In his opinion, this part has become one of the most beloved, since it not only has a lot of special effects, but also there is a lot of comedy moments. In addition, Sergei Smirnov is admired (his biography is in this article) and the work of the actor himself - Jeremy Renner.

His acquaintance with the creativity of this artist took place while watching the film "The City of Thieves". Later, he saw him in The Lord of the Storm. As Sergey himself says, he is not a big admirer of Renner, but he always admired his incredible male charisma, his peculiar piercing gaze, confident plasticity of his body, calm and confident speech.

Another project, on which worked Smirnov, is a Turkish series called "The Magnificent Age." In it, the actor had to work on the dubbing of one of the main characters - Symbhulya Agi, whose role was played by the popular Turkish actor Selim Bayraktar. According to Sergei, he liked to work on the series, where he found much in common between himself and the character.

As Sergey Smirnov (Russia) says, there is a special cunning in his character, which is also found in Siumbuly Agi. Sergei, like him, can be soft and tough. He always knows when to be more demanding of himself and others, and when it's all to go down on the brakes.

What are the difficulties with scoring and dubbing?

During dubbing, according to the actor, there can be certain difficulties. For example, it is very important to work not for resistance, but to be able to correctly convey the intonation and character of the voiced character. In this case, it is extremely necessary to make everything so that your words and phrases coincide with the real facial expression of the character displayed on the screen.

We must make every effort to convey the image and the very meaning of the game. And it should be remembered that duplication and scoring is a collective effort. All actors are links of one big chain. Therefore, in any way, one of them should not be allowed to malfunction. Otherwise, the mistake of one will simply cross out the activities of the whole group.

Sergey Smirnov, an actor of dubbing, asserts that when working on foreign series and films, not only difficulties of translation can arise in the setting of dialogues, difficulties are often associated with the scoring of titles. For example, when he was working on the dubbing of the Turkish TV series, some of the names and titles were so difficult that it was possible to break the language.

In addition, many foreign heroes have a specific hoarse voice or a special timbre of voice, which also needs to be adjusted. But there are also sounds that are simply impossible to repeat. In such cases, says Sergei, they have to be left in the original.

Famous actor and namesake

The surname of Smirnov is considered one of the most widespread. Consequently, it can often be heard along with the Ivanovs, Petrovs and Sidorovs. Therefore, meeting namesake, the actor of voice-over and dubbing is not upset at all. On the contrary, many people with a similar surname are famous and very successful. For example, one of these is the actor Sergei Smirnov - the father of Svetlana Martsinkevich.

The first namesake was born in October 1949 in Sverdlodarsk.
