Despite the fact that this position has not changed for many decades, the dish enjoys constant popularity among visitors. It would seem that the leaves of the salad with pieces of grilled chicken meat, generously sprinkled with garlic crumbs and grated cheese - a very common combination of products, but the taste is amazing, perhaps thanks to a special sauce that is often served in a separate bowl. Today in this article we will tell you how to prepare a Caesar salad at home, after all, although this is a restaurant dish, the technology of its creation is extremely simple. Any hostess can make it in her own kitchen. By the way, instead of chicken, you can take other ingredients, such as large shrimps - this option is also popular, especially among those who prefer seafood instead of meat.

How to prepare a Caesar salad at home: a recipe with chicken

This dish was first served in America in the 50s of the twentieth century. The legend says that the chef of a small restaurant on the border with Mexico did not calculate the supply of food for a large number of guests - the ingredients for cooking popular dishes in the kitchen just ended. I had to come up with treats from what was left in stock - it was chicken, hard cheese and salad leaves. They will be needed for the classic "Caesar". Take:

- half a head of lettuce;
- 300 g of chicken fillet boiled (or grilled on a grill);
- 50 grams or slightly more parmesan;
- mayonnaise, greens, salt and pepper for refueling.

How to prepare Caesar salad at home? Everything is very simple. Slice the small plates of boiled or grilled chicken fillet. Lettuce leaves tear, grate on a large parmesan grater. If you do not have garlic crisps, you can cook them yourself. Take half of the stale bread, cut it into small square slices, place on a frying pan. Fry the bread in the oil for a few minutes, add to it an extruded clove of garlic, stir well, cook a little more. For sauce, mix 3 tablespoons of any mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice, a little greens and garlic after garlic. Done. - 500 g of large king prawns;
- 1 head of lettuce, especially "Iceberg";
- 50 grams of hard cheese;
- half a pack of cherry tomatoes.

For sauce:

- 3 hard boiled eggs (only yolks are needed);
- 2 tbsp. L. Concentrate of lemon juice;
- 1 tsp. Ordinary Russian mustard;
- a pair of cloves of garlic;
- 100 ml of oil - olive or vegetable, as well as salt and pepper.

Boil the shrimp in slightly salted water, cool and clean. Salad leaves tear, cheese grate on a large grater. Garlic croutons can be bought in the store, but you can do it yourself. To prepare the sauce, carefully chop the egg yolks and mustard, add lemon juice, squeezed garlic and butter. Mix well: you should get a thick, uniform mass. And now serve the salad: in a large plate lay first the leaves, then cut in half tomatoes, followed by shrimps and croutons, pour sauce and sprinkle with cheese.
