A few can answer this question. And he continues to work, write books, often recalls days gone by. How did the life of Alexander Korzhakov develop?

Childhood and family

Alexander Korzhakov was born on January 31, 1950 in Moscow. Korzhakov the elder passed two wars: the Finnish and World War II. He worked first as a worker, then became a workshop master at the Trekhgornaya Manufaktura. There he met with Alexander's mother, who was a weaver.

Later, already in Yeltsin's times, he defended his Ph.D. in economics.

Service in the KGB

After demobilization in 1970, Alexander Korzhakov comes to work at the Ninth Department of the State Security Committee, which deals with the protection of the highest figures of the party and state. In 1971, he joined the ranks of the CPSU, is part of the party bureau of his unit. About his service of those times Korzhakov says little, and nothing particularly interesting for the general public then in his life did not happen. In 1981, he was sent to Afghanistan to participate in military operations.

Boris Yeltsin in the life of Korzhakov

In 1985, Korzhakov receives a new appointment: he becomes the bodyguard of the first secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the CPSU, Boris Yeltsin. This event changed the life of Alexander Vasilyevich. He pretty close to the protected "object". So there was a tandem "Alexander Korzhakov - Boris Yeltsin", who participated in many significant events in the life of Russia.

In 1987, when Yeltsin was dismissed for objectionable authorities by harsh statements, Korzhakov did not leave Boris Nikolayevich and continued to maintain friendly relations with him. For this in 1989 he was fired from the KGB, formally by "age and health", but in fact - for supporting the uncomfortable, disgraced Yeltsin. At the same time, Korzhakov is excluded from the ranks of the CPSU, and all this meant the end of his career. But times have changed.

Formally, Korzhakov worked as head of security in the cooperative "Plastic", but in fact he continued to guard his friend and former boss BN Yeltsin. When Yeltsin was appointed chairman of the USSR Armed Forces and Architecture Committee, Korzhakov came to work in his structure. In fact, he remained the personal bodyguard of Boris Nikolayevich. The organizer of the fraud was named Alexander Korzhakov. "Top secret" - the newspaper, the journalists of which conducted the investigation, printed a photo box with half a million dollars and described a complex chain of people and organizations that locked in on the head of the SBP. As a result, overnight Korzhakov was dismissed from all posts and lost Yeltsin's trust.

Deputy Korzhakov

After the dismissal from the Kremlin, Korzhakov Alexander made a lot of loud statements, tried to speculate with secret information, which he owned, he accused his daughter Yeltsin Tatyana in her troubles. But, to his credit, he did not tell any unpleasant information about his former boss. Korzhakov concluded alliances with various politicians, including the oppositionist Alexander Lebed, and sought support.

In the Duma, he passed several convocations, adhering to various factions, during the last parliamentary years he was a member of United Russia. In 2011, Alexander Korzhakov completed his career as a deputy and left the big politics.

Korzhakov's books

After the dismissal of the President of the Russian Federation Korzhakov zealously began to write memoirs. Perhaps at first it was just an attempt to intimidate Yeltsin, but later all this turned into a real book. Already in 1997, Korzhakov's work, Boris Yeltsin, From Dawn to Dusk, entered the bookstores. In his texts, Aleksei Vasilyevich harshly walked around Yeltsin's entourage, according to his family, but the most ex-boss hardly touched. In 2012, Alexander issued a second book about the environment of Yeltsin, where he again blames the family and close associates of the president with all his might. In numerous interviews, Korzhakov hinted that he knows a great deal about the events of the Yeltsin years, that all his exposures are yet to come, but so far he has not dared to make sensational statements.
