For 1 kilogram of berries you will need:
- A half kilogram of sugar or slightly less, if the currant is sweet enough;
- Half a glass of clean filtered water.
Jam from currants "minute"
Of course, for the preparation you will need a little more time than one minute - but you can still make it much faster than the workpiece based on the previous recipe. Take:
- 1 kilogram of black currant;
- 1-1.5 kg of granulated sugar.
Wash berries and scald with boiling water. From sugar cook a syrup (a glass of water for the specified amount of sand), put the currant in it and bring it to a boil. That's all - ready-made jam can be put in cans and sent for safekeeping.
Jam from a currant "5-minute"
The consistency of such a preparation will be very similar to jelly, and for cooking you will need:
- Kilos of berries;
- One and a half kilograms of granulated sugar;
- Half a glass of clean filtered water.
Ripe black currant wash, scrape and blanch (boil) in boiling water for a couple of minutes. From the water and sugar, prepare the syrup, bring it to a boil, and already then dip the berries into the pan. Bring to a boil again and cook for 5 minutes. More time is not needed. Taking into account the preliminary preparation of currants (of course, if you are not making such a jam from a bucket of berries), the whole process will take no more than 20 minutes from the beginning to the end. And now you have to decide how to cook the jam from the currant, and cook it for the winter. By the way, if in the cold season you will dissolve a spoonful of fragrant food in a glass of warm water, add honey and drink, then no catarrhal diseases will not be scary to you. Tasty mors will be to the liking of adults and children.
