Recipe from a basket: salad "Forest glade"

This amazing salad can be considered as a traditionally autumn dish, the mushrooms in autumn, because they believe, and the spring combination of blanks that survived the winter and fill the festive table in the absence of fresh gifts of nature. It is not known when for the first time the salad Lesnaya Polyana was prepared, the recipe of which we offer, but it immediately fell in the way of the housewives, as all the ingredients, including mushrooms, could be easily obtained.

"Forest Glade" salad is sometimes called "a turnip salad", since the traditional filling in it is not in the form of a layer, but directly from above - the mushrooms necessarily decorate the bonnet of the salad in its entirety.

Classic Recipe

A fragrant dish will raise the rating of the feast where it is more fortunate than the bored olivier and simple slicing of marinated mushrooms. Try the recipe urgently - let's start with the traditional: lettuce "Forest Glade" with mushrooms.

A little secret: this salad is mayonnaise, it is better to cook it in the morning, to let it soak like a cake. To make it, you need a container deeper, while with a wide bottom - only then will you get a multi-layered "glade". Lubricate the walls and the bottom with vegetable oil - preferably olive, so that the salad is easier to lag behind and assimilated. The caloric content of the dish is about 150 kcal per serving in 200 g.

Ingredients:

  • The bank is drunk - half a liter.
  • Potatoes - 2 pcs.
  • Carrots - 2 pcs.
  • Hard-boiled egg - 3 pcs.
  • Boiled chicken breast - 300 g.
  • Pickles.
  • Cheese.

Let's start our salad "Lesnaya Polyana" with the fact that we will lay out a gorgeous mushroom (you can use champignons) with your hats down as tightly as possible to each other - it will be clear later why. We cut greens - onions, parsley, dill, basil or lettuce and carefully sprinkle mushrooms on top. You can tamp green with a spatula.

Each of the layers will be lubricated with mayonnaise - and this is the first layer.

Rub the boiled carrots on a large grater and lay on top of the second layer, then again lubricate the dressing and a little tamped. It is important that the layers are in tight contact with each other.

Boil potatoes and cut into strips or grate on a grater with cucumbers. We spread first potatoes, on top - mayonnaise, then - cucumbers, and repeat the procedure.

Finally chop finely chicken (you can replace ham) and form another layer. Top with sprinkled eggs and "cement" with mayonnaise.

Almost done! It remains to add cheese, also grated finely. Someone uses fused, and someone is experimenting with Parmesan - it does not matter, cheese is like a finishing touch.

By the way, salad salting is not recommended due to the use of pickled ingredients. Cover the finished dish with a flat container and set it to freeze in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.

After the expiration of the time we take out and carefully turn the container over the dish covering it - our salad "Lesnaya Polyana" will fall out of the bowl, like a beautiful baby pasochka. It is possible to save the moment of turning over to the gathering of guests and to amaze them with the spectacular serving of the dish.

Variations: Some people like a slightly salted salad "Lesnaya Polyana" - it uses even oily and white mushrooms. Potatoes can be removed, instead of it add spices - pepper, bay leaves, even stalks of celery. The main thing is that the recipe has been tried beforehand.
