An analysis of N. Zabolotsky's poems

Nikolai Zabolotsky is a poet and philosopher, who is rightly called one of the most mysterious and paradoxical personalities of the 20th century. He was known in literary circles as a talented translator and an original master of the artistic word. In life he was a man of very reasonable and rational. However, an analysis of Zabolotsky's poems suggests that the author of these works is a sensitive nature and extremely responsive.

Zabolotsky's creative path was difficult and thorny, as, indeed, the life of other writers and poets of the beginning of the last century. Today, the heritage of this author occupies a prominent place in the literature. Contrary to unfavorable historical events, during which Zapolotsky began his journey in literature, he was able to introduce new themes into Russian poetry.

Periodization of creativity Zabolotsky

In the work of this poet, three periods are singled out. All of them essentially differ from each other in plots and themes. Zabolotsky did not give the title to the work, but mainly it became the inner world of man, which the poet endowed with some human abilities. The soul, in his opinion, must work. After all, spiritual laziness generates selfishness, callousness and narrow-mindedness. Zabolotsky believed that by making himself indulgent, a person risks losing the latter and, perhaps, the most important thing in life. And even those who are wise with experience and have gone through a long way of life must continuously teach themselves kindness, justice and compassion. Important philosophical questions, relevant at all times, raises the analysis of Zabolotsky's poem "Do not allow the soul to be lazy ...".

Lyrics

Lyrical works of Zabolotsky were created under the influence of the traditions of Tyutchev and Baratynsky. The poem "Thunderstorm" is filled with metaphorical images designed to show the connection between nature and man.

The last works of the Russian poet include ten poems, included in the cycle "Last Love". Two years before his death, the marriage of Zabolotsky was a disorder. The poet for a while closely communicated with Vasily Grossman, the author of the legendary novel "Life and Fate". Zapolotsky's wife could not remain indifferent to the talent and mind of the great writer. Disorder led to a brief separation, during which the lyrical cycle was created. Ekaterina Vasilievna returned in 1958 to her husband. Two months later he passed away.

The legacy of Nikolai Zabolotsky is small. It includes only one volume of poems and poems. But the themes of his works are so diverse and multifaceted that, without a doubt, this poet can be attributed to the great masters of the artistic word of the twentieth century.
