Kursk nightingale. Nightingale is a migratory bird. Nightingale is a singing bird

A slender little bird, short with a wonderful clear clear voice, long and long fell in love with connoisseurs of ringing trills. Not everyone wakes up with the first cocks. Someone was lucky to meet the morning under the cheerful song of the nightingale. To the lucky are the Kurds. They have their own "family" vocalist. And, although such a biological species does not exist, numerous fans are sure that the Kursk nightingale is different from other tribesmen.

And there is a whistler, a red-necked woman, a Bluethroat. And they all belong to the nightingale. Vocal data of feathered artists was glorified in their creations by poets of past eras. In the "Odyssey" of Homer, one of the heroines of the myth magically transforms into such a feathered one.

Nightingale - bird singing: description

Closer to the hero of this presentation was a great Russian writer Nikolai Nekrasov. In his poem dedicated to the general favorite, he noted that "our Kursk nightingale is in price ...".

Glorified him, of course, primarily singing. After all, if you look from the outside, then the appearance of this winged phenomenon is completely unremarkable. Many have heard, but, however, they saw less and know who a nightingale is, a bird whose description you will read, and when you meet, you do not. The sprout is not large, only seventeen centimeters, the legs are long, the eyes are dark, the color is brown, only the tail with a rustle.

Habitat

The ptaha, which belongs to the eastern subspecies, is almost flat all over the European part of our vast homeland, to the Caucasus and the Crimea, to the Altai and the Yenisei. You can meet her in Eastern Germany, and in Poland, and does not fly past the Baltic states. And there is also a Western representative living in Ukraine, in Southern and Central Europe, Asia Minor. Persian and African subspecies nest in Kazakhstan and Transcaucasia. In general, almost everywhere he lives, does not grieve, sparrows with sparrows, since he belongs to this group. A family they have flycatchers and thrush.

Food

Nightingale - a bird, the description of which we have already practically stated, is not whimsical at all. Spiders, various insects and berries are included in the permanent menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The nest suits low, in thickets of grass or in the roots of bushes.

Reproduction

Drags for his home literally everything: dry foliage, stems, straws. If you are lucky somewhere to pick up scraps of wool, the bottom in the nest will be soft and warm. In this cozy apartment, the offspring of feathered singers appear. Only the female hatches eggs.

They are a little over twenty millimeters in length, color perfectly merge with dried leaves. So, for thirteen days, which are necessary for hatching chicks, it is unlikely that someone accidentally sees them and can do harm. Especially since this whole future mother and her offspring reliably protects and feeds, like a real muzhik, the head of a united family.

Wintering

Nightingale is a migratory bird, therefore it is not to go to winter somewhere, but to Africa. He also likes fragile bones in the sun to warm up. Do not forget, however, in time to return, in order to sing the spring and heat. This happens in early May, when the weather is already settled, and the sun warms up in summer. In the southern regions, they are noted for their early return, back in April.

Singing

Some poets say that winged vocalists sing only at night. But this is completely wrong. Trills can be heard at other times of the day, but only in the performance of males. That's how they give signs of attention to their girlfriends, take care of them. Probably, the knights, once peeking behind the birds, began to perform serenades under the windows of their beloved.

Just in singing, the famous Kursk nightingale always appears in the first place among Russians. For connoisseurs and connoisseurs, their vocal art became a whole science. Solo is distinguished by a large number of so-called "knees", in an approximate translation into human language - couplets. These features are reflected in the winged phrases. And who do you think "throws out a knee"? Folk talents study the nightingale manner of performance and try to imitate it, compete with each other in skill, like those birds.

Different kinds of "songs"

In the habits of feathered choristers, Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev understood. He even painted in detail ten "couplets" in his message to a friend-hunter. Bullet-bullets, clay-kly, plenipolet, go-go-go-tu ... Here and Julia's boredom, and the rasskat, the stove and Kukushkin's flight. Experts are ascribed to the choristers to twenty-four tribes, especially noting the peculiar construction of them in each locality. Kursk sings "couplets" more than others, for which they have always enjoyed increased attention, even during major fairs several centuries ago.

They came here from all parts of Russia, bought up the nightingales. In the middle of the nineteenth century, 150 rubles were a rather big sum. That much, if not more, was paid for local ptah. For this money, then, you could buy a pair of horses, and a couple of cows to add to the cattle yard. As indicated in the statement for the year 1836, the local residents sold 420 birds at the Korennaya Fair that year.

Catching the songwriters of the land of Kursk was profitable in those days. No wonder they said that they were singing for arshin. The happy owners were ready to pay out tidy sums, then every day to be touched and admired with ringing trills. A lot of profit was brought also by the teaching of small ptas to vocal art. Nestlings were specially placed next to adult males, so that young people would listen and repeat the tribes of "professionals". The Kursk melody could also be heard in St. Petersburg, because the Imperial Court also had a weakness for this sound.

The nightingale has not lost its popularity even today, a bird singing at dawn and at sunset from spring to autumn. Now at home, unlike parrots and cenars, these birds are not kept. Is that only enthusiastic ornithologists. But in Kursk a few years ago opened a museum, which is dedicated to the life and phenomenon of feathered singers. More than 500 exhibits, historical data, literary works, sayings and omens. Here everything that the Kursk nightingale can tell about itself is gathered, photos and clay figurines of birds from local masters cause constant interest and daily attract hundreds of visitors from small to large to the museum.

On the territory of the region and beyond it there are competitions of vocalists, festivals of bard songs, bearing the name of a proud bird. And from the Kursk to the white stone can be reached by "nightingale" train.

Kursky nightingale

This sonorous nickname received famous stage voices: in tsarist Russia - singer Nadezhda Plevitskaya, in the forties of the last century - tenor Ivan Surzhikov, now called the favorite of the public, People's Artist of Russia Lev Leshchenko.

Surprising is the fact that, with all the veneration and pride of local "feathered stars", on the coat of arms of the Kursk region they are not. But there are three flying partridges. That's how the main symbol of the region was bypassed.

Unlike the end of the nineteenth century, when the bird industry in the Kursk province threatened "singers" with disappearance, in our time there is no need to add them to the Red Book. Only in the region there are about two thousand pairs. But this does not mean that they do not need protection, like all the living things that surround us. It's nice to meet and see off the day for pure singing, which gives a sense of peace and a smile.

Conclusion

We hope you understand what a nightingale is - a bird, the description of which we told you. Now you can share your knowledge with loved ones.
