Cook the dish should with intensive stirring for 20-25 minutes, after which the rice can be washed and add a little vegetable oil. It is important to remember that the right rice is a little undercooked and friable. It is from the latter that the quality of many cooked dishes, for example, traditional Japanese cuisine, largely depends. Not everyone knows how to cook rice for sushi correctly - but you can learn this by carefully controlling every step of the cooking process. It is important to remember that for sushi, fine and round rather than long-grain rice is best suited , as it is softer. In addition, the grains for Japanese dishes are highly viscous, and are ideal for making sushi balls . How to cook rice for such a dish? For two minutes on medium heat, after which it must be kept for ten minutes under the closed lid, so that all grains swell. Then rice can be laid out in a bowl and pour marinade (15 grams of salt and sugar mixed with 50 grams of rice vinegar). After that, the product is ready for the formation of balls and the final preparation of sushi.

Brown rice is cooked a little longer than white, and during cooking it retains the maximum amount of useful trace elements. On the other hand, white rice, which requires less cooking time, is soft, more pleasant in appearance and taste.
