Ombre means a transition from one color to another, from the dark to the light one. The cake made in this technique looks stylish and appetizing. Many are convinced that such beauty is obtained only from confectioners and restaurant chefs. But this is not so. Any housewife can prepare a cake in the style of an ombre. The main thing is to follow the instructions described below.

Cake "Ombre" from biscuit cakes

Grocery set:

  • 50 g of pink dye;
  • Low-fat milk - 6 tbsp. L;
  • 3 biscuit cakes;
  • 2 tbsp. L of vanilla essence;
  • 450 g butter;
  • 12 glasses of powdered sugar.

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, put half of the oil we have, 1 tbsp. L essences, 6 glasses of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons. L milk. All this is whipped with a powerful mixer.
  2. In the dish we put the first cake. We smear it with the cream obtained earlier. You can also sprinkle with slices of berries or chopped nuts. Then we put the second cake, which is also lubricated with cream. We get a cake. On all sides, we smear it with cream, level the layer. Now we remove the dessert in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
  3. We are going to prepare another lot of cream. To do this, mix the same ingredients (milk, essence, oil and powder) and in what quantity. The resulting cream is divided into 3-4 parts. What's next? In each bowl we dilute the dye, but in different consistencies. We should get close to each other shades of pink.
  4. We take out the frozen cake from the refrigerator. We cover it with a new layer. A more concentrated cream should be placed below. In other words, the darkest shade. And on top will be a white cream. The process of preparing a delicious and original dessert is completed. Now you need to send the cake "Ombre" (photo above) to the middle shelf of the refrigerator. Cake "Ombre": recipe with mastic

Necessary ingredients:

  • 1 cup of flour and sugar;
  • 160 ml of milk;
  • Eggs - 4 pieces;
  • A packet of butter (not more than 200 g);
  • 1 tbsp. L baking powder;
  • 20% cream - 200 ml;
  • 130 g of starch.

For cream:

  • 200 g of powdered sugar and cream cheese;
  • Half a glass of cherry;
  • 300 ml cream (33% fat content) in a cooled state;
  • 100 g condensed milk;
  • A packet of butter (enough 150 grams).

For mastic:

  • 1/3 can of condensed milk;
  • 150 grams of powdered sugar and milk powder;
  • ½ teaspoon of food coloring (color can be any);
  • 2 tsp juice squeezed from lemon.

Cooking Instructions

Step # 1. First you need to make cakes. In a bowl, combine the proteins and half a glass of sugar. Beat using a mixer. In another bowl we must have yolks and butter, covered with the remaining half of sugar. All this is shaken.

Step # 2. Cream and milk are poured into the ladle. We heat on fire. Do not bring to a boil.

Step number 3. We take another bowl. We put starch, baking powder and flour into it. We mix these ingredients.

Step # 4. In a large bowl, shift the contents of each of the bowls. Stirring. The resulting dough is divided into 3 parts - on different plates. That's not all. A few teaspoons of dough is placed in a separate plate. Add the dye to them. If it turned out bright and saturated shade, then we did everything right.

Step # 5. In the dough for the first crochet we put 1 tsp of dyed dough. What are our further actions? The second cake should be slightly darker. To achieve this, add 3 parts of l of dyed dough into a suitable bowl. Now we need to get the most intense shade. In the third bowl, put 4-5 parts of a dough mixed with dye.

Step # 6. We put before ourselves 3 molds for a cake (diameter not less than 16 cm). In each of them we pour out the dough. Preheat the oven. We send it molds with content. At 180 ° C the cakes will be baked for half an hour. We take them out of the oven, let it cool completely.

Step # 7. Let's get on with the cream. Sugar powder is combined with cheese. Beat, gradually adding cream.

Step number 8. We are preparing an Ombre cake with a filling. In this case it's cherry. Frozen berries (pitted) put in a saucepan. Pour sugar (4 tbsp). We put on the stove. As soon as the sugar dissolves, add to the pan 2 tbsp. L. Water, connected with 1 tbsp. L of starch. The resulting mass is cooked for 30-40 seconds, setting a minimum fire. We will use the stuffing in a cooled form.

Step number 9. Let's start assembling the cake. First we put the lightest cake on the dish. We spread it with cream. Cover with a cake, which is slightly darker. We use cream. We put the last, darkest cake. It must be covered with a special cream. It is prepared simply: beat the mixer with 100 g of condensed milk and 150 g of butter. We remove our cake on the middle shelf of the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step number 10. It remains to make the last element - mastic. In a bowl, combine powdered powder and dried milk in the right quantities. Gradually pour condensed milk (1/3 of a can). To improve the taste, we add lemon juice. The table is sprinkled with powdered powder. We shift the mastic to it. We knead mass, continuing to pour sugar powder into the center. Then we send the mastic to the refrigerator for a maximum of half an hour. If you want to paint it in any color, then you must drop a drop of helium dye before mixing.

After 30 minutes, roll out the mastic, pre-sprinkling the table with starch. Then cover it with cake. All unnecessary clean. From this you can make flowers and leaves for decoration.
