Kasha is a Russian national dish, very nutritious and quite high-calorie. Back in ancient Russia, our ancestors used to eat porridge with butter, mainly from whole grains, thanks to such nourishment grew strong and healthy heroes. In addition, it contains: calcium, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, phosphorus, sodium, fluorine, manganese, copper, cobalt, chromium, silicon, iron, boron, zinc and many other useful minerals.

As is known, for the normal functioning of brain activity it is necessary to consume foods rich in fluoride, but barley porridge can fill the deficit of this vital element. According to scientists, boron, zinc, silicon, chromium and fluorine are biologically significant for our body, they are contained in this cereal culture in sufficient quantities.

For good digestion, fiber is required, it is about 6% in barley. It helps to remove the decay products, harmful slags and toxins that pollute the body. All these useful properties are in the croup almost unchanged, so it is often prescribed to diabetics and people who are dieting.

Barley porridge promotes the burning of excess fat and eliminates its accumulation. People who suffer from hypertension, stomach ulcers, vascular diseases, kidney and duodenal ulcers are advised to use this rump. Since barley contains a natural antibiotic, in which there are no side effects.

Barley is also rich in amino acid - lysine, which protects against colds and herpes. That is why pediatricians recommend giving this dish with fresh fruits to little children over 10 months old. This porridge has a very low glycemic index, due to which it can be eaten with diabetes mellitus.

In the course of the study, the scientists found that after soaking barley, hordecin remains in the water, which has an antifungal and antibacterial effect. Such healing water can be used to treat diseases caused by fungi and bacteria.

A decoction of this grain has a softening and enveloping effect, it also helps to remove irritation in inflammatory infections and spasms. In addition, such a decoction is a strong diuretic. In non-traditional medicine it was used to treat arthritis, obesity, hemorrhoids, constipation, colds, diabetes. Barley porridge prevents the formation of malignant formations and rejuvenates the body, because it contains mineral substances and the vitamin B group.

We need:

- a liter of milk;

- barley groats 100 g;

- butter 50 g;

- sugar to taste;

- eggs 3 pieces;

- Ground nuts - 100 gr. (Almonds and walnuts);

- cream 10%.

In boiled milk, gently pour the rump and cook until thick (15-20 minutes). In the finished porridge put the butter and allow to cool slightly. Then add sugar, beaten eggs and nuts - put a lot of mass on a baking sheet covered with breadcrumbs. Sprinkle sugar on top and anoint with egg - bake until golden crust (10 minutes at 180C). Serve a delicacy with whipped cream - a very tasty and nutritious dish!
