About the name of the theater

The first premiere show on the stage of the restored building took place in 1993 on April 2. The audience saw a performance called "The Fire", based on the eponymous fairy tale by G. Kh. Andersen. Presenting his first performance, he still had no name. After the show the idea came by itself. They called this puppet theater "Ognivo", in honor of the premiere performance, from which the further creative work began. One of the most valuable exhibits is the doll of Martha Tsifrinovich, People's Artist of Russia. With this doll she performed in "Blue Lights" with her pop numbers.
