Each printer owner tries to find out how to change the cartridge in the printer. Usually it happens that after the purchase of the printer the ink ends very quickly. This is because when you purchase this device, a demonstration cartridge with a very small resource is inserted into it. Therefore, it is appropriate to ask yourself the question of how to change the cartridge in the printer, pre-filling it with paint. Or is it better to buy a new one?

Replacement or refueling?

No one argues that it is much easier to buy a new cartridge. They got the old one, threw it away, put in a new one, and it's done with the end. But it happens that the new cartridges are much more expensive than the printers themselves (more often all this happens with cheap printers). This is done by manufacturers specifically so that people spend more money on consumables, thereby raising the profit of manufacturing companies. This must be remembered before changing the cartridge in the printer. HP Deskjet (printer), for example, will cost you very much if you constantly buy new cartridges. HP receives its revenue mainly from the sale of cartridges.

The very first thing is to buy a good paint for the cartridge. If you decide to save money and choose a bad paint, then the quality of the photos will be poor. Another disadvantage of substandard ink is the rapid drying and the lack of printing in some places on paper.

It is noteworthy that the manufacturers of cartridges never produce paint for them and special sets for refueling. They want people to buy their refilled cartridges. So do not try to find original ink, which is simply not in nature.

So, you bought the ink. You need a syringe for refueling. Remove the cartridge from the printer, find out its capacity, fill the syringe with paint so that the capacity matches the capacity of the cartridge. At the top end of the cartridge there is a hole (it is glued with a sticker), through which air is released. It has a very small size, but the needle of the syringe will fit.

You can try to tear off the sticker, but after refueling, be sure to glue it back. There is implemented a complex system of air removal, and the sticker is part of this system. If you do not stick a sticker, the ink will flow through the nozzle of the cartridge.

There is another option for refueling. With the thinnest drill, make a hole in the cartridge, fill it with paint, then carefully fill the hole with plasticine. You can even use regular chewing gum. It will all work, but only if you print a lot. If the paint dries, you will not be able to clean the cartridge.

However, if you print a lot, then you generally do not need to know how to change the cartridge in an HP printer or another manufacturer's model. After all, in this case it is appropriate to use CISS, which will save money and time at the gas station.

Replacing and refilling the laser cartridge

As with the inkjet, the cartridge for the laser printer is also easily removed: the front (upper or back) cover is opened, a special latch is pressed and the cartridge itself is delivered. Depending on the model, the cartridge can be removed in different ways, but always to make it simple. In a good way, the used cartridge should be thrown out and inserted a new one, but it's best to just fill it up.

Precautionary measures

Just note that refilling cartridges laser printers is difficult and harmful for health. The powder for refueling is very shallow, and if it gets into the lungs, it will be bad. There are also chipovye cartridges, which after refueling may simply not work. At home, you will not be able to fill such models. However, in special services they are refilled and the new chips are caught, which are perceived by the printer. This can be an additional difficulty.
