Tablets "Triampur" refer to the pharmacotherapeutic group of diuretics. Active components: hydrochlorothiazide and triamterene.

The drug "Triampour" instruction for use recommends for arterial hypertension. Medication is prescribed to eliminate puffiness associated with kidney, liver, or heart pathology, especially in cases where it is necessary to prevent potassium loss by the body. Rarely, heartbeat, ECG change, orthostatic hypotension, diarrhea, epigastric discomfort, hemorrhagic pancreatitis, jaundice, partial intestinal obstruction can be noted. Against the background of the present cholelithiasis, when taking the medicine "Triampur" can develop inflammation in the gallbladder.

Potential side effects include disturbances in water metabolism and electrolyte equilibrium, an increase in glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol, uric acid, as well as metabolic acidosis, hypovolemia, dehydration.

In a number of cases muscular tension, lethargic muscles of the skeleton, cramps in the calf muscles were noted. Rarely allergic reactions occur in the form of fever, urticaria, exanthema, itching and redness, and erythematosis.

Throughout the treatment it is necessary to increase the amount of liquid consumed per day.

During therapy, specialists recommend refraining from taking alcohol.
