What are chondroprotectors?

These are drugs that can restore the cartilaginous tissue, providing it with food and not allowing it to break down. They have a very long duration of exposure, so the results are visible only after six months of use. As a rule, they are all quite expensive.

Classification

All drugs-chondroprotectors can be divided into two features: by generations, that is, by the time of application, or by composition. The second classification is much clearer and more understandable.

6. Medication "Artrodar", which has not only an effect on cartilaginous tissue, but also anti-inflammatory effect.

Contraindications for all chondroprotectors

All drugs of this series can not be used during pregnancy and during the subsequent period of breastfeeding. The second obstacle is the allergy to any components of drugs. In addition, chondroprotectors are administered with considerable caution if the patient has problems with the digestive system. Medication «Don»

True, he has more contraindications: fragility of blood vessels, tendency to bleeding, thrombophlebitis, age to fifteen years.

Medication «Artra»

This, perhaps, is one of the most effective drugs of this series. It is used for the same diseases as the "Don" remedy. His analogues, however, like the medicine "Artra", are characterized by more serious contraindications. In this case, these are kidney problems, diabetes, asthma, child age and fragility of blood vessels. It takes no longer than six months.

This means "Alflutop". Unlike the drug "Don", analogues, whose price fluctuates around a thousand and a half, are still more accessible to the general population. The medicine "Alflutop" in ampoules costs 1600 rubles. It is an extract from several species of marine fish, positively affects the metabolism in the cartilage, suppresses inflammatory processes. It is prescribed for periarthritis, trauma, spondylosis, arthrosis, osteochondrosis, during recovery from operations.
