What Questions are Commonly Asked When Applying for Work

Many questions that are asked for a candidate for a job during an interview are key, and the answers to them give the employer or a representative of a recruitment agency the necessary information about the applicant. Perhaps someone thinks that most of interviewers are interested in his education and work experience, but not always so.

Are you a worthy candidate?

Sometimes an employer has only a few words of a potential employee to draw the appropriate conclusion about him. At the same time, everything is taken into account: the manner of the conversation, the peculiar purity of speech, and the sincerity of the applicant. Secondly, the content of the response itself is evaluated. So, when hiring you may be asked:

- Tell us a little about yourself? Very often already at this stage the candidate may have difficulties, therefore personal information (just a few of the most important proposals) should be prepared in advance;

- reasons for leaving a previous job? When hiring , this is the key question - the answer to it fully reveals the degree of reliability of the candidate, his loyalty and willingness to work long hours in one place;

- tell us about your experience in the position you are applying for? On the professional experience should be clearly stated, confirming their words with facts. It is worth mentioning about the executed projects, concluded contracts or attracted customers;

- Do you consider yourself successful? Even if you do not think, the answer should still be yes: yes, I consider myself successful, I always strive to achieve the goal and I can use my advantages. On employers such confidence in their abilities always has a favorable impression;

- Do you know anything about the organization you want to work in? Similar questions are often asked by the executives who especially care about the corporate ethics and culture of the company. It is best to prepare for this and to learn about the future work place;

- How have your knowledge improved in the last few years? It is best to support the interviewer with several testimonies (if you have one) about the completion of courses, seminars, trainings or other activities for the improvement of professional skills;

- did you offer your candidacy for similar positions in other organizations? Answer this question honestly, otherwise the employer will begin to doubt the loyalty of the future employee. Yes, I sent out a resume, but I'm ready to focus on achieving results exactly in this company - the ideal answer when hiring;

- What is your expected salary? In no event can one answer unequivocally. It is best to ask how far you can claim, and also ask the interviewer about his proposal. Otherwise, a good response will be a range of "from ... to ....";

- Tell me, what benefits can you bring to the organization? The most successful question for a job seeker when hiring, as it allows you to tell about your business qualities, professional skills and abilities. A great chance to present yourself on the most profitable side - and try not to miss it. No platitudes - to work overtime or become part of the team. Everything is only positive and active - leading, attracting, surpassing or improving;

- is there anything annoying about the people around you? Be very careful: the employer does not want to hear about too talkative colleagues or a picky former boss. A good answer can be given only after some reflection - and this answer is not;

- do you have any questions? Required! Questions for job interviews must be carefully thought out and recorded. Well, if they relate to the prospects for the development of the organization, their own career growth worker or projects that he will have to deal with. This will help the employer evaluate you as an interested and proactive candidate, and make a positive decision about your admission to work.
