The disease is "self-dependence." Selfi is a bad habit or a disease?

The world is technically developing rapidly, and this fact leaves its imprint on its inhabitants. Because the engines of progress and initiators are people, to answer them. Since ancient times, scientists and geniuses of the past have been looking for ways to capture an image in more simple ways than drawing. And this is not surprising, because we are always looking for easy ways to solve our problems. One of the consequences was "Selfie disease".

Self-dependence of different layers of the world population

If you look superficially at the photo, then its purpose is to capture in a certain period of time the area that is captured by the camera lens. For a person, this image can serve as a key to the memories of the past. Namely, they create deep feelings of sadness and joy in people, evoke emotions, capture the spirit and play with imagination. As for the development of photography as a whole for art and culture, this is a huge leap forward for many areas of science and technology. From the photo you can find a person, a place, items that have gone missing ever. In today's world, photography has become an integral part of a person's life. Social networks are filled with millions of photos, mostly made independently. This phenomenon already has its own name - Selfie. The disease of the 21st century captured the whole world. It touched not only students and adolescents, as narrated by newspapers and magazines, but also by the more adult category of people. Presidents, the Pope, the English queen, famous actresses and actors, singers and singers - absolutely everyone can be seen in the social network on Selfie.

Most striking is that even serious people with significant social status do selfie. For example, the self-portrait of Barack Obama at the funeral in a cheerful mood caused a lot of disagreement. A photo of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Medvedev in the elevator in general scored in "Twitter" more than three hundred thousand tweets. While the bulk admires such open actions on the part of the government, scientists are seriously puzzled by the problem of the 21st century, already called "sickness disease."

What is Selfie?

Selfie translates from English as "himself" or "himself." This is a photo taken on the camera of a mobile phone, tablet. The image has characteristic features, for example, a reflection is reflected in the mirror. The word "SELFI" became popular for the first time in early 2000, and then in 2010.

The history of Selfie

The first selfies were made on a Kodak Brownie camera from Kodak. They made them using a tripod, standing in front of a mirror, or at arm's length. The second option was more complicated. It is known that one of the first selfies was produced by the princess Romanova in thirteen years. She was the first teenager to make such a photo for her friend. Now they do everything, and the question arises: whether a sickie is a disease or entertainment? After all, many of people make photos of themselves daily and put them into a social network. As for the emergence of the word "SELFI", it came to us from Australia. In 2002 ABC channel was used for the first time such term.

Selfi - a simple innocent entertainment?

The desire to photograph oneself to some extent does not bear any unpleasant consequences. This is a manifestation of love for your appearance, a desire to please others, which is typical of almost all women. But daily photos of food, legs, themselves with alcoholic beverages and other intimate moments of personal life, exposed to the public - this is uncontrolled behavior, which entails no innocent consequences.

Especially frightening is the behavior on the part of absolutely still children from 13 years old. Teenagers in social networks as if did not bring up parents. A self-explanatory note can be an innocent entertainment only when the photos are taken rarely and do not have erotic overtones and other sociological deviations. Society, having its own culture and spiritual values, falls down with such thoughtless behavior. By flaunting their genitals, teenagers doom the future of our kind to a lack of moral and ethical norms in society.

Selfie - a mental illness?

American scientists came to the conclusion that self-portraits from mobile phones, which are regularly posted on social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and other less well-known resources, attract attention and a mental disorder. Selphi disease has spread throughout the world and affected people of different age groups. People who are in constant search of a bright photo, gradually go mad, and some die for the sake of extreme frame. It is a real disease - to do SELFI every day.

Species of Selfie

Scientists have identified three degrees of this mental disorder:

  • Episodic: characterized by the presence of no more than three photographs daily without re-laying in social networks. Such a disorder can still be controlled, and it is subject to treatment by will and awareness of one's actions.
  • Acute: a person makes more than three pictures per day and necessarily shares them in Internet resources. A high degree of mental disorder - photographing oneself does not control their actions.
  • Chronic: the most complex case, absolutely not controlled by man. Every day more than ten photos are produced with publication in social networks. A person is photographed anywhere! This is the clearest proof that there is a Selfie disease. What is she called in medicine? Actually, it was in honor of the photo itself that it was called, although social networks are not of secondary importance, which are also a kind of dependence.

Manifestation of Selfie in Society

There are already dozens of poses in the society for photographing themselves, and now they have a name. Selphi's disease continues to spread in the society, despite the statements of scientists about the danger and the conduct of telecasts on this topic. Here are the most fashionable self-pose of 2015:

  1. Photo in the elevator. Favorite option for many celebrities, including politicians. One of the most popular was the photo of Dmitry Medvedev in the elevator of the House of Management of the Russian Federation. This shot scored about two hundred thousand marks in the Instagram.
  2. Lips with a denture. The most frequent selfie in women. The photo of yourself with the lips gathered by the bow, now, probably, the leader of Selfie.
  3. Gruphy is a group photo, gaining rapid popularity among young people. One of the most popular is the American groom at the Oscars. Especially for such pictures, Chinese manufacturers have increased the capabilities of cameras for mobile phones and tablets.

    1. Fitness Selfi. The photo was taken with a mirror in the gym. Very popular self and in girls and men. At the height of fitness felipe Justin Bieber with a slender physique and a sweet smile.
    2. Relfi. A half-doom with his second half: very touching, but importunate and boastful, causes a negative for the majority. But there are exceptions, for example, Rolfi Angelina Jolie with Brad Pitt.
    3. Photo in the toilet. It is very common - literally every second girl has such a photo in her arsenal. And celebrities also take pictures of themselves in the toilet.
    4. Belfi. Self-portrait with protrusion of the buttocks. Naturally, only girls do such a nonsense. But men of this kind of Selfie put high marks.
    5. Felfy. Self-portraits with the participation of animals.
    6. Photo of feet. Often shots of the lower part of the feet in the shoes predominantly.
    7. Self-portrait in the bathroom.
    8. Extreme Selfie. It is this kind of alarm. She went on television screens about the self-transmission disease, in which interviewed the most popular extreme at the Selfie. This kind of self-image is done at the moment of danger and risk to human life, for example, when you are at a height, with aggressive animals, during a catastrophe, in space, in flight, etc.

Extreme Selfi - the most dangerous manifestation of the disease

In an effort to discourage the audience, the extremals are breaking their rivals' records on danger and other indicators of Selfie. In Russia, Kirill Oreshkin became the most popular selphist. He constantly conquers ever new heights, photographing on the roofs of high-rise buildings. This kind of Selfie already has its victims. Extreme self-portrait - a terrible and at the same time incredibly spectacular. But the fact that a person, once he tried to take pictures in unusual conditions and laid out in a social network, is no longer able to stop - this is a fact.

    Self-illness: scientific research

There is a lot of disagreement between the scientists of the countries of the world about the kind of how harmless photographing of themselves. But the best minds drew attention to him not only because of the popularity of the word and the image itself in society, but because of the appearance of victims among teenagers who want to make an extreme photo. Studies have led to the conclusion that Selfie is a manifestation of exhibitionism and egocentrism. People who have a passion for constant photography of themselves, and after exhibiting the society, have unequivocally mental disorders and low level of self-esteem.

Every day, people suffering from dependence on selfi, is becoming more and more.
