Soup with meatballs and dumplings: a recipe with a photo

Despite the fact that the named dish was invented by the Slavs, today it enjoys great popularity all over the world. And every nation has its own variant of preparation. Someone cooks it on chicken broth, and someone - on the water. So now we'll tell you how to make a classic soup with meatballs and dumplings (the recipe with the photo will be presented later). In order not to have to interrupt the process and in a hurry to look for the missing products, take care in advance that you have at your fingertips:

  • Four large potatoes.
  • One medium carrot and a bulb.
  • A pair of sweet bell peppers.
  • Three tablespoons of any vegetable oil.

For meatballs you will need:

  • 225 grams of minced meat;
  • Half of bulb;
  • One fresh egg;
  • Two tablespoons of greens and breadcrumbs.

To prepare dumplings, you need to advance in advance:

  • One fresh chicken egg;
  • 110 grams of wheat flour.

In order for your family to fully appreciate the soup with meatballs and dumplings, the step-by-step recipe of which will be described later, the above list of products should be replenished with a small amount of butter, three liters of water, salt, pepper, bay leaf and other spices.

Process description

At the first stage you need to do meatballs. For their preparation in one bowl combine forcemeat and chopped onions. All is well mixed until a uniform consistency is obtained. The container with the formed mass is covered with a food film and sent to the refrigerator.

After that you can do dumpling. To prepare them for pre-whipped and slightly salted egg, pour the flour and mix thoroughly until a stiff dough is formed.

Then you can go to the main stage. In a saucepan filled with three liters of boiling water, place the previously washed, peeled and cut potatoes. Five minutes later, the pre-formed meatballs are lowered there and the same amount is cooked. Then, the balls of dough are carefully added to the broth, and five minutes later, the onions, carrots and sweet Bulgarian pepper, fried in butter, are also placed there. At the same time, salt, pepper and bay leaf are sent to the pot.

Ten minutes later, the ready-made soup with meatballs and dumplings is removed from the fire and served to the table.

Option for children

Unfortunately, not all babies love the first dishes. Therefore, this option is likely to interest young mothers who care about the health of their children.   • 110 grams of homemade beef or chicken;
  • Large bulb onion;

Technology of preparation

Pre-washed, peeled and cut vegetables are placed in the bowl of the multivarka. There they also pour clean drinking water and activate the "Soup" or "Quenching" regime.

While cooking vegetables, you can take meatballs. For their preparation in one bowl combine homemade beef or chicken ground meat, raw egg and a pinch of salt. All mix well and form small meat balls.

After that, it's time for dumplings. They are made from a mixture of eggs and mango. To do this, the yolk is separated from the protein and whisked well with a fork, gradually pouring the rump. At the end, a little salt and the remaining protein are sent to the test.

Algorithm of actions

First you need to start refueling. For its preparation in a frying pan, greased with vegetable oil, shred the onions and carrots in advance and lightly fry them. In the end, tomato paste is added to the vegetables and the mixture is warmed up properly. When the dressing starts to be fried, a little warm water is poured into it and stewed at minimum heat for a quarter of an hour.

In a saucepan filled with boiling water, carefully lower the meat balls and cook them for five minutes. Shortly before the full availability of vegetables in the broth is placed tomato dressing, a pinch of sugar and pepper. It is important to make sure that the potatoes are softened, but not boiled. After that, soup with meatballs and dumplings is removed from the plate, poured over plates and decorated with greens.

Option with cheese

As in all previous cases, before starting cooking, you should go to the store and stock up on all the necessary ingredients. Your list should include:

  • 250 grams of minced meat;
  • One fresh egg;
  • 40 grams of cheese;
  • One small onion;
  • 120 grams of flour;
  • Bouillon cube;
  • A teaspoon of butter;
  • Salt, pepper and greens.

In one bowl, pre-grind cheese, flour and egg are combined. Then add a couple of tablespoons of water and mix well. In the end, you need to get a pretty dough.

In a separate bowl mix stuffing, salt, pepper and finely chopped onion. Small balls are rolled from the received mass and lower them into a pan filled with one and a half liters of boiling water with a broth cub dissolved in it. Then dumplings are placed there. When they come up, they send greens to the water and give a little puff. After a couple of minutes, put the butter in the ready soup with meatballs and dumplings.
