Solar dimorphoteka. Cultivation from seeds

Among many florists, dimorphoteka has been very popular recently. Cultivation from the seeds of this plant does not cause difficulties, so the flower can be seen on many flower gardens, rock slides, balconies and in window boxes. To us, the dimorphotech came from the countries of South Africa and is cultivated as an annual plant, since it does not withstand severe frosts and frosts.

The genus includes about 20 species. Flowers have a different color, but the most popular is the golden-orange shade, also called "Inca gold." In our climatic conditions, a recess and rain dimorphotec take root. Cultivation from seeds is the only way to reproduce this culture. It can be sown directly into the ground or grown in seedlings.

Dimorfoteka likes sunny places, good and regular watering, and also drained soil. In April, the sun already warms the ground well enough, there are no strong frosts, so it's a great time to sow seeds in the open ground. Dimorphotec grows up to 40-60 cm, so flowers should be planted at a distance of 25 cm from each other.

You can also resort to a seedling method, which produces a stronger dimorphoteka. Cultivation from seeds is carried out in March. On the eve you need to carefully prepare the soil. The sowing should be superficial, the seeds are only slightly covered with earth. Seedlings appear in the first 10 days. Most of all dimorphoteka like peat pots. When the seedlings are sufficiently grown and reach 10 cm in height, you can engage in planting. In the peat tablet should remain 2-3 flowers, weak plants are removed, and healthy ones are transplanted to another pot.

A very delicate root system is the main feature that a dimorphoteka has. Cultivation from seeds in the open ground presupposes thinning of plants, and not a transplant, because a flower with a damaged root often dies or is ill for a long time. When transplanting from a pot to a pot or growing in a greenhouse with a dimorphoteka, one must be very careful not to injure it.

Care for this plant is the same as for other flowers: you just need to weed the flower bed, regularly water and make complex fertilizers. Flowering runs from July to September, flowers open only in sunny weather, go to bed for the night, they do not open up at all at rain. That the bush always remained beautiful and accurate, it is necessary to cut off the withered flowers.

Dimorphoteka blooms about two months after sowing seeds. To the plant was healthy and strong, it should be watered with the drying of the soil. Fill the bushes is not worth it, because they can hit the gray rot. If there is rain in the summer and excessive humidity is maintained, it should not be watered at all. If necessary, the plant must be treated with a special preparation from rot.

Dimorfoteka responds well to fertilizers, feeding should be done only 2-3 times for the entire time. Flowers are used to decorate flower beds and flower beds, can be used as an accent plant in a flower garden, are good in group plantings.
