Depositor is an economic category

The depositor is the depositor, the subject who deposited the thing or deposited various values into the deposit of a certain state institution. For the first time this word appeared in the second half of the 19th century in German in the sense of "postponing".

History of the origin of the term "depositor"

As a modern economic concept, the depositor is a business entity that owns money held in storage temporarily from another entity. This concept in the late 20th century acquired a somewhat different meaning.

The main meaning of the word "depositor"

This is an employee - an individual - who did not receive wages in the terms stipulated in the employment contract. A more complete definition is a person who has not timely received payments due to him and other monetary incomes. For example, the wage contributor is represented by workers and employees who have not received on time (within three days) their accrued income (wages). Also, it may be persons to whom certain deductions were made in fulfillment of certain documents of the judiciary.

If you look at other languages, the word "depositor" in English is a depositor. Therefore, it can be safely assumed that the depositor and the depositor have a common etymology and similar content. Thus, these two concepts are identical in the economic aspect.

New meanings of the word "depositor"

There is another definition of the term "depositor" - it's just a card of an employee who has not received his salary. This concept is often used in determining the amount of money that the business entity did not pay within the deadline established by the contract.

Often in everyday life, a different concept is used - the depository. In this case, the depositor is a person who uses the services provided by the depositary in terms of storing securities or maintaining records of the rights to such securities.

The deposited salary

Since the most common value of the depositor is associated with the receipt of wages, let us dwell in more detail on this area of economic activity. Any reader may object that the current payment of wages is carried out using plastic cards in ATMs. However, consideration of the depositor in this case can be carried out in the theoretical aspect.

So, the presence in cash department of any institution of "live" money above the limits established in the legislative and regulatory order, is allowed only on those days when the payment of wages. If there are situations where, for certain reasons, not all employees can receive money within three days, the remaining amounts must be deposited. Thus the deposited salary does not render any influence on the sum of the tax payments calculated from the salary as all payments and taxes are calculated during its charge.

The legislation of the Russian Federation does not establish a special period for payment of wages declared as deposited. Therefore, if there is a need to receive such a salary, the employee applies to the accounting department with an appropriate application in writing or orally. In this case, the payment of this salary is made without "binding" to the days of payment, since the employee has the right to receive it in any case.

However, the order of payment of this kind should be settled in the labor or collective agreement. This will avoid labor disputes and violation of the rights of employees in any enterprise.
