Narcissus. Planting and care. Tulips

Narcissus, planting and caring for which must be carried out according to certain rules, requires the following conditions:

1. Propagation of hybrid varieties and forms is usually carried out by bulbs and children. These flowers grow without transplantation for almost five years. When they expand, they need to be transplanted. A pre-cut is also required if the number of flowering shoots decreases.

2. Cleaning bulbs should begin after the leaves turn yellow. Late is not recommended, because if the plants are excavated late, this negatively affects the quality. After all the plants are excavated, they must be examined in order to discard the specimens affected by pests or diseases. All the spoiled must be burned.

3. Excavated bulbs must be cleaned, sorted, washed in water, disinfected with manganese solution, dried in air in boxes. It is recommended to do this in a place that is closed from the sun. Storage should be carried out in a ventilated room at a temperature of +17 degrees.

One of the most popular among plant growers is the narcissus. Planting and caring for this flower should begin earlier, in comparison with other bulbous ones, that is, at the end of summer. If the disembarkation is carried out in the proper time, then the plants take root well before the frost. In the flower garden, they are best planted in groups, asymmetrically. If narcissus is a flower (the photo always turns autumn colorful) - is grown for cutting, it is better to plant in rows.

The depth of embedding depends on the size of the planting material and the composition of the soil. It can be from 13 to 23 cm. Seedlings, intended for children, need to be planted from the bottom 10 cm deep. In the row, the distance between them is no more than twelve centimeters. Dense planting is recommended in order to bulbs become larger, if it is too sparse, then the children are formed more.

Narcissus, planting and caring for which suggests that in dry weather the plants must be watered, in late autumn the land is mulched with peat or a layer of humus (3-4 centimeters), growing quite rapidly. It is worth noting that when freezing the soil by 4-5 centimeters, flowers should be covered with a layer of leaves about 20 centimeters. There are winter hardy varieties of this kind of flowers, they can not be insulated. Common varieties freeze on dry light soils more often than on heavy and humid soils. After the snow has melted, the shelter can be removed, and the leaves left between rows.

Narcissus, planting and care for which is carried out according to all the rules, enables the gardener to enjoy his early flowering and aroma.

Following the daffodils, tulips begin to bloom. Planting and care of tulips are also carried out according to certain rules:

1. When planting tulips in autumn, the depth of planting should be at least 15 cm. If the bulbs are large, they should be planted deeper.

2. It is recommended to plant the tulips 10 cm apart. But many gardeners plant them more often, because it looks prettier. It is best to make the planting thicker. Then the flowers will look more beautiful and spectacular, because they will be seen from afar.

3. It is not recommended to plant bulbous plants in the summer, since if the bulbs are in the ground for a long time, they become more infected with fungal diseases.

4. The earth before planting should be treated with special bactericidal solutions.

An excellent place for placing tulips is well-watered soil, best if the place is sunny. The bulbs are planted in autumn. The rules are simple: you need to choose a good location, best if it is a space near the path or along the edges of the flower garden. The plants are planted by the group. Before planting for 2-3 weeks, the land should be dug 1 shovel into the depths, and then add mineral fertilizers.
