Sisters Yukiny, Olga and Tatiana: biography and photos

Since childhood, many remember the fairy-tale films of Alexander Rowe. They were not just kind, but warm and bright. Among them stands the 1963 film called "The Kingdom of Curved Mirrors." In addition to an interesting and exciting plot, this movie fell in love with the audience thanks to the performers of the main roles. They were Yukin's sisters, Olga and Tatiana. Although most of them are remembered as a capricious girl Olya and her reflection Yalo. Participation in the film Row instantly made two Moscow schoolgirls famous for the whole of the USSR.

Who are Olya and Tanya Yukiny?

Bold, mischievous twins with blond hair and huge blue eyes - that's what Yukin's sisters remembered so much. After the release of the film with their participation, it was difficult to find a child in Moscow who did not know them. Many expected that after such a successful debut, Yukin's sisters would invariably become actresses and take pictures in yet another movie, but the girls chose a different path.

The Yukin family

The Yukin family consisted of four people: father Gennady, mother Mary and two fervent daughters, Olya and Tanya. In the early sixties the Yukins received an apartment in Moscow. Although it was located in Kuzminki, after communal apartments in semi-basement rooms, the individual living space seemed almost a paradise.

The father of the girls worked in a factory for the production of pillows, and mother - a seamstress in the studio. Despite the difficult time and the predilection of the head of the family to alcohol, the Yukins lived together. And although sometimes father and mother made scandals, pretty soon they were reconciled, and in the family laughter and funny songs were heard again.

Childhood of Oli and Tanya

The future actresses of Yukin's sister were born in October 1953. From the very childhood they were very talented and bright girls. Sisters knew a lot of poems for memory, they danced and sang folk songs. In the yard and at school, Oly and Tanya had many friends. In addition, the twins tried to study well.

Once in the local House of Culture was organized a contest for the best pair of twins. Children from all over the district came to take part. Also came to this competition and the sisters Yukina, who by that time was nine years old. Seeing how the girls briskly dance and sing, severe judges had not the slightest doubt and victory was awarded to Ole and Tanya. From the competition, the girls brought home a bunch of prizes and award certificates.

Participation in the film "The Kingdom of Curved Mirrors" 1963

The great Soviet storyteller Alexander Row was just getting ready for the adaptation of Vitaly Gubarev's famous novel The Kingdom of Curved Mirrors. According to the plot, the main characters are similar to each other as two drops of water. Therefore, Roe was desperately looking across the capital for a suitable pair of twins. At the same time, he wished that under absolute external identity the girls had completely different characters. In the process of searching, he reviewed about three hundred pairs of twins, but no one liked the demanding director.

Once in the hands of Row were photos from the contest of twins, in which the sisters Yukina, Olga and Tatiana participated. Interested in blonde sisters from photographs, he invited them to try. Soon after, the mischievous girls were confirmed for the main roles in the picture "Kingdom of Curved Mirrors".

Since the film was shot in Yalta, with the beginning of summer, the whole crew and twins with their mother went to the sea.

When the actresses of Yukin's sister appeared on the set, as the girls call, not everyone knew. Learning that one of the little actresses has the same name as one of the heroines, to prevent confusion, she was assigned the role of Olya, and Tanya - her mirror image of Yalo. It is noteworthy that by the nature of Tanya was more like a character named Olya, and Olya's twin - on Yalo.

Since Tanya and Ole got the main roles in the film, they had to learn whole pages of text. In addition, they shot a lot, so the girls sometimes so tired that they did not have enough strength to go swimming in the evening to the sea. However, the young actresses of Yukin's sister, Tatyana and Olga, did not complain and endured all difficulties as adults. In addition, the acting profession had huge advantages for them, because here, on the beach, the girls first tried delicacies, which they could not even imagine at home. They lived in comfortable hotels, went in soft cars and felt like princesses. Sometimes it seemed to the girls that they were in a real fairy tale. The whole summer the work on the painting lasted, and with the beginning of the new school year Olya and Tanya returned home.

Early glory of twins

Almost for three months of working in the movies, girls received only 80 rubles (at that time the cleaning woman earned in one month), but the memories of the time spent at the sea were much more expensive for the Yukin sisters. Moreover, soon the film "The Kingdom of Curved Mirrors" with their participation came out on the screens, and the girls became incredibly popular.

From all over the USSR talented twins received letters, so that the girls simply did not have time to write the answers. At school, Yukin's sisters generally were treated like two queens-they were in the spotlight, they fell in love, admired them and envied them. In addition, Olya and Tanya were even invited to the Kremlin, where they congratulated and presented luxurious gifts.

Soon the girls got tired of such intrusive attention, but next year, with the beginning of summer, they again wanted to get to the shooting. Therefore, Olya Yukina wrote a letter asking Alexander Rowe to the film studio. Soon Yukin's sisters were invited to a new film-tale "Morozko".

Roles in the film "Morozko", 1964

After receiving an invitation to act again in the movie, the girls were very happy at first. But, arriving on the shooting of the movie "Morozko", were slightly disappointed. To the tender summer sea in a soft car the trains were not lucky. In addition, they were given only small roles of girls in handkerchiefs with baskets collecting mushrooms in the forest. And although the sisters played their roles perfectly, it was all already wrong.

The fate of the Yukin sisters after graduation

After the "Morozko" film, Yukin's sisters were filming? Alas, they did not appear more on the screen. However, it was not such a tragedy for girls. Even those two roles in the films that they performed glorified them throughout the country, and after a few years the girls were still stars in their school and district.

Mom twins was categorically against the acting career of daughters. Therefore, all invitations to participate in the local drama circle of the twins Yukiny rejected.

A little later, Olya and Tanya showed themselves well as sportswomen, they were offered professional tennis, but this was again prevented by the mother of girls.

After graduation they had to choose some profession of Yukin's sister, Olga and Tatiana. The biography of these girls could have developed differently, they decided to link their fate with the movie. Friends of childhood twins tell that Tanya even tried to enter the theater institute, and Olya - in the technical. But it did not work out, and the girls, on the advice of their mother, entered the local technical school of mechanical engineering.

Sisters of Yukin: personal life

However, to work on the specialty girls never happened. As soon as the girls were twenty years old, they both got married.

Olga went for a guy from his native school named Viktor Lamonov. However, the husband was not a prince at all, rather soon all the hardships for the provision of the family fell on the shoulders of his young wife. After suffering for several years, Olga Yukina divorced her husband.

Tanya's chosen one was Alexander Zamolodchikov. He worked as a driver and turned out to be a more caring husband for Tanya, rather than Lamon for Olya. Together they lived their whole lives.

Children of Olga and Tatiana Yukinykh

Soon after his marriage, Olya gave birth to Maxim's son, and Tanya's daughter Yulia. After the divorce, Olga Yukina returned to live with her parents, and they helped her to take care of her son. And after their death, Olga and her son Maxim began to live alone in the apartment. It was necessary to raise her son to her feet, but Olga was lucky - she and Tatyana got a job together in Intourist.

Work in Intourist

It is difficult to say that it contributed to the fact that the Yukin sisters without special education and skills took a job in such a prestigious institution. Either the girls were able to establish themselves well as workers, or their former glory as actresses (after all, movie stars who work in the most famous hotel of the country - this is a good advertisement) helped Tanya and Ole.

In the seventies and eighties the hotel chain Intourist was a special world where the cream of the society was spinning. There were actors, foreigners, politicians, fashion designers and musicians. Working in this structure, Yukin's sisters lived practically like Christ in his bosom. Their duties included the preparation of Soviet tourists for sending abroad. Thus, the twins not only visited the country more than once, but also got various scarce goods for themselves and their families.

The sisters had expensive clothes, foreign technology, elite alcohol and scarce food. And their children grew up like a prince and a princess. For example, Maxim was the first of the class to become the proud owner of real jeans, in addition, he had the first in their area to have a video recorder - the envy of all classmates and friends from the yard. It seemed that this happy happy life would always be like that, but perestroika broke out, and later the collapse of the USSR.

In 1995, the hotel "Intourist" began to belong to businessmen, and in the process of reorganization, the institutions of Yukin's sister were dismissed. As their name and in what films they were shot once, already nobody was interested.

The last years of Yukin Olga and Tatiana

The dismissal from Intourist coincided with the hungry nineties. It was difficult to get a job, in addition, a scanty salary was constantly detained. Inflation destroyed all savings, and the sisters had to sell out all the valuable things in the house. Not to die of hunger helped a small dacha in a village near Moscow.

Such a sharp transition from luxury to poverty could not but affect the moral condition of the sisters. Both gradually began to drink, especially Olga. Alcohol had a negative impact on her already inadequate health, and in January 2005 she died of heart problems right in her son's arms.

Tatiana was stronger and survived her sister for six years. All these years she worked at the military registration and enlistment office for pennies. Health constantly let her down, besides she drank a lot. Tatyana's husband survived the stroke and got a disability, so the care of the family almost completely fell on the fragile shoulders of an elderly woman. In March 2011, the last of the Yukin sisters was gone.

Both twins are buried alongside their parents at the Pokrovsky Cemetery in Moscow.

About the sisters Yukina little information. In those rare articles that still meet, they often write that the cinema ruined their lives. It is difficult to say how fair such statements are. After all, thanks to the shooting in the "Kingdom of Curved Mirrors", the girls saw a different life, which was strikingly different from their wretched existence before. In addition, when the sisters of Yukina, Olga and Tatiana, grew up, they, despite various difficulties, were able to provide themselves with the kind of life they dreamed about. And with the collapse of the USSR, not only Olga and Tatiana, but the whole country, including famous actors, was in a terrible situation. It is unfortunate that these talented girls did not manage to adapt to the new life, and they died so early. Despite this, for many spectators, they continue to remain favorite actresses, even if they played only two roles.
