Oleg Tabakov: biography and filmography. Films, school, theater, children and wives of Oleg Tabakov

Few people did as much for the Russian theater art as Oleg Tabakov did for him (photo) - an outstanding teacher, actor and director. Under his leadership, there are two successful theaters in Moscow, the "Saratov Suffering" festival is being held, and many young talents are being trained in acting at the Moscow Art Theater School. At his 78 years Oleg Tabakov feels great, never faint and continues to work hard. What is the secret of his eternal youth? In an opportunity to do things you love or in something else? The biography of Oleg Tabakov, described in this article, will help to find the answer to this question.

Childhood

August 17, 1935 in a family of doctors - Berezovsky Maria Andreevna and Tabakov Pavel Kondratievich, living in Saratov, - a son was born. In early childhood, the boy learned how to live without a father. Pavel Kondratyevich was taken to the war, and Maria Andreevna, in order to feed her family somehow, went to work in a military hospital with a railway. As the biography of Oleg Tabakov, it was then that he learned how important it is to be honest, kind and hardworking. And forever absorbed these qualities. The actor recalls that childhood, despite everything, he was happy, bright, joyful, because he grew up surrounded by loving people - mothers, grandmothers, uncles, aunts.

Young years and choice of life path

Little Oleg was very fond of reading, and he was fond of theater from an early age. He studied at Saratov Men's School No. 18, in his free time attended a theater group in the Palace of Schoolchildren and Pioneers. This determined the choice of his future profession - he literally fell ill with theater.

Admission to the Moscow Art Theater

After graduating from high school, young Oleg Tabakov came to Moscow to learn the basics of the actor's profession. He submitted documents immediately to two universities - the Moscow Art Theater School and GITIS. And on the outcome of the entrance tests was adopted in ... both!

His choice of an ambitious guy stopped at the Moscow Art Theater School, because he considered her the best theater university in the country. Oleg Tabakov studied at the course of Vasily Osipovich Toporkov and was one of the most successful students. During the student years he performed his debut role in the cinema. In the picture of Porter Michael "Sasha enters life" Tabakov played Sasha Komelev. And suddenly he found a new professional passion - cinema.

Studio of young actors

In 1957, at the Moscow Art Theater School, the Young Actors Studio, founded by Oleg Efremov, began to function. Later this studio turned into the famous theater "Contemporary", and Tabakov Oleg Pavlovich became one of the youngest of its founders. The final formation of Tabakov as an actor also occurred within the walls of the "Contemporary" under the influence of the personality of the mentor Efremov.

Period of the Contemporary

After leaving the school-studio, Tabakov was sent to the Stanislavsky Drama Theater in Moscow, but by chance he found himself in the newly created Efremov Studio for Young Actors. The first work of the actor on the stage was the role of Misha in "Ever-living." Later this small studio turned into one of the best theaters in Russia - Sovremennik, and Oleg Pavlovich was the leading artist for almost thirty years. His participation in the performances "Ordinary Story", "Three Wishes", "Always On Sale", "Naked King" made them incredibly successful and unforgettable.

Unfortunately, hard work for the benefit of art brought to the artist not only the benefit - self-forgetfulness, great physical and moral burdens did their job - at the age of 29 years Tabakov suffered a heart attack. To the delight of fans and relatives, he quickly recovered and returned to the usual rhythm of life.

In 1970, Oleg Efremov was appointed art director of the Moscow Art Theater, and therefore "Contemporary" was left without a "father." Oleg Tabakov's biography shows that at that time he took the initiative and offered his candidacy for the role of "stepfather", that is, the director of all the beloved theater. Almost seven years "Contemporary" worked under the leadership of Tabakov, and I must say that during this time the theater's positions in the art world have significantly strengthened.

Teaching Activities

A successful and maximally loaded artist of Russia wants to take on another serious task: teaching young talents to acting skills. In 1976, in his life begins a new exciting phase called "professional teaching". His first course, consisting of twenty-six students, Oleg Tabakov scored on the basis of GITIS. His first students were K. Panchenko, E. Mayorova, V. Nikitin, M. Ovchinnikova, A. Yakubov, L. Kuznetsova, I. Nefedov, N. Lebedeva, O. Topilina and others. Oleg Pavlovitch's "first-borns" were lucky - he gave them maximum of his strength and time. In the training program of Tabakov, radically different from the standard institute, there was also the study of "forbidden" literature, and meetings with Okudzhava, Vysotsky and Shverubovich, and many other interesting, exciting, from the practical point of view, useful.

In 1986, Tabakov was appointed to the post of rector of the Moscow Art Theater School, which he successfully led until 2000.

Foreign projects

In parallel with work in the theater, Tabakov often starred in the movies and works on radio. He is in demand not only in Russia, but also abroad - in 1968 the artist was invited to Prague's Chernogorny Club, where he performs one of his most beloved roles - Khlestakov in Gogol's The Inspector General. Now Oleg Tabakov was known and loved not only in his native country, but also abroad. With the participation of the Russian artist, the audience of the Czech Republic saw more than thirty performances, and residents of Great Britain, the USA, Austria, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Hungary enjoyed more than forty performances in the production of Oleg Tabakov - as it turned out, not only an actor but also a successful director.

Above all, Tabakov Oleg Pavlovich is engaged in teaching activities at Harvard University - he heads the Summer School. K. Stanislavsky.

The famous "Snuffbox"

In 1977, having secured the support of Yu. L. Goltzman, the head of the Baumanskiy RSU, Tabakov received a large semi-basement that once belonged to a coal warehouse. Master Tabakov and his students cleaned the abandoned building with their own hands, repaired it and turned it into a real theater, which later became known as "Tabakerka".

Already in 1978 the theater presented its first work to the audience - a performance based on the play by Kazantsev A. "I will return to you in the spring." It was followed by "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", "Two Arrows", "Passion for Varvara", "Farewell, Mowgli!" And many other productions. The students of Tabakov had a great advantage over others - they were regularly reinforced by the theory studied in the institute, and they regularly reinforced the practice on the "Tabakerka" stage, carefully sharpening all facets of acting skills.

Two Sides of Success

For a few months everyone started talking about the Tabakov Theater - journalists, critics, spectators. The cast played not only in Moscow, but even far beyond Russia. Unfortunately, the indisputable success and recognition of the viewer did not bring "Tabakerke" the right to receive the official status of the theater. For two years, the graduates still gathered in their cellar at night, rehearsed and even presented the premiere. During the "shadow" activity of "Tabakerka", such productions as "Jacques-fatalist", "The Case in the Zoo", "Notes of a Madman" were created.

Once, when the premiere of the new play "The Proletarian Mill of Happiness" was planned in the theater, fate played a cruel joke with its participants - one of the actresses did not appear at the premiere, since she was not allowed to leave the "main" place of work. So the life of "Tabakerka" froze.

Only in 1986 Oleg Tabakov's theater was able to work officially. Already in March 1987, "Tabakerka" began to give the viewer new performances, and the actors - an invaluable experience.

Since 2008, under the "Tabakerka" the Oleg Tabakov's school is functioning - the theater college, where they teach the acting profession of children from all over the country.

Work in the Moscow Art Theater. A.P. Chekhov

In 2000, the great actor, teacher and director makes the impossible - combines leadership of several theaters with teaching activities in Russia and abroad, producing, working in the theater as an actor and filming in the movies!

Oleg Pavlovich was entrusted with the management of the Moscow Art Theater named after AP Chekhov, which he continues to do with great success even now. Tabakov expanded the circle of admirers of the theater, diversified his repertoire, and under his leadership, works were also carried out to reconstruct the obsolete building in which he is located.
