To remove and bore the cylinders, you must first remove the head of the engine block with the decompression mechanism, after removing the cover of the engine block. Unscrew the nuts with the cross wrench to the cross to avoid leakage of the valve cover. Then, the head of the engine block is removed after removing the camshaft gear drive, it can be either the gears itself, the timing belt, or the chain. All work should be done on a cold engine in order to avoid burns. After the head of the engine block has been removed, it is necessary to drain the engine lubrication system prior to removal, this is done through the drain neck by unscrewing the engine oil drain plug on the bottom of the crankcase.

After the oil is drained, it is necessary to remove the head of the unit with all its elements of the decompression mechanism. Then unscrew the crankcase of the engine. Fastenings in it are directly on the engine block from below, therefore, it is necessary not to damage the tightness of the crankcase gasket carefully to remove the sump of the crankcase. Then remove the covers of the connecting rods by unscrewing them without damaging the connecting rod liner. They are unscrewed directly from the bottom, like the oil pan.

Then the connecting rods are pulled out together with the pistons, then the crankshaft is removed. Unscrewing the main bearings. Next, remove the engine block from the engine mount.

Boring is made on special milling and locksmith equipment directly on the machines. Then it is all polished, the walls of the cylinders are polished directly.

Then, after the completion of the work, everything is set in the same order, only the installation of all the nodes is carried out with a torque wrench, namely the installation of connecting rods, crankshaft, cylinder head, which is twisted cross to the cross so as not to overtight, so a torque wrench is used.

After all the operation, oil is also poured in and the engine compression is checked
