Quest Pistols Show: composition and current format of the group

Today, the Quest Pistols Show, whose composition has changed thrice during the eight years of his musical career, is well known to every bit of a connoisseur of modern domestic show business. Who would have thought that the April Fool's performance-a rally of three shocking dancers would grow into a real megapolar project.

History of group creation

The song team has existed for 8 years, but initially Anton Savlepov, Nikita Goriuk and Konstantin Borovsky were only shocking choreographers, who founded the dance team Quest in 2004. The guys are bright personalities who are used to amaze and fascinate the Kiev audience. With the debut song it all happened that way. On the project "Chance" from the Inter TV channel on the International Day of Humor and Laughter, the guys performed a cover of the song Long and Lonesome Road by the Dutch band Shocking Blue. Recognition of the public was lightning, 60 000 messages in support of the track and its performers became the starting stage for the reckless trinity, and the composition "I'm tired" took off to the first steps of the domestic musical charts.

If a person is endowed with a divine spark, then he is talented in everything. So the guys showed the inclinations of vocalists, composers and poets. Each new track of the band becomes a hit and a long-liver of the hit parade.

The participants

The success of the "Quick Guns" was stunning. Their faces immediately began to appear in Ukrainian and Russian glosses, and the guys did not have time to give interviews between the rehearsals and the creation of the debut album. Initially, the group Quest Pistols Show, whose composition in 2014 grew to five participants, was designed as a male trio. The core of the team and the first laurels of recognition went to the founders of the group: Anton Savlevov, Konstantin Borovsky and Nikita Goryuk.

A few years after the successful start, information about the disintegration of the collective began to seep into the press. In February 2011, fans of the group were horrified at the news that the team was leaving one of its brightest participants - Anton, but the idols hastened to calm the disturbed crowd and soon gave a refutation of this information.

In the summer of the same year, the trio unexpectedly became a quartet: one more participant joined the guys - Daniil Maciechuk. But a month later Konstantin Borovsky announced to tabloids about the termination of work in the project. Or rather, about changing his status: from the lead singer, the showman turned into the curator of the "Pistols".

The guys continued to shock the audience with their speeches, clips and released more and more interesting material. But this troika was not destined to please its fans for a long time. Already in 2013, Daniel Joy went on a solo voyage. Rather, he left the group to create a boy-band KBDM with Kostya Borovsky.

The quests continued to tour, but already together. In early 2014, they were joined by a dancer performing in a mask.

It was in early 2014 that the media began to talk about the creative crisis in the collective. During this period, Nikita Goriuk released a solo track "The White Bride", rumors began circulating that the band would cease to exist.

While the producer of the team Yuri Bardash and the participants themselves openly ignored the paparazzi and kept intrigue, interest in the project has greatly diminished. And here it is, the delayed-action bomb: in April the guys appeared to the public in a new role and introduced the fans to the new members of the "Pistols".

New format of the team

During the year, when Nikita Goriuk and Anton Savlepov performed in pairs, the guys presented a clip to the song for the song Baby boy. The work was fundamentally different from the previous material and was completely uncharacteristic of the manner in which participants performed. Perhaps this was the tactical move of the producer of the group, or the guys did not yet know in which direction they would move on. But more and more often information about changing the format and sound of the collective began to appear. And yet the organizers of the Quest Pistols Show did not provide photos of new members for a while.

And only when the updated title of the famous band appeared, and from April 2014 it sounded like the Quest Pistols Show, the composition of the collective was enriched by three newcomers: they were the famous dancers Miriam Turkmenbayeva, Washington Salles and Ivan Krishtoforenko.

In one of the many interviews the shocking stars admitted that a new era had come to the group's history. Vocalists told that they decided to return to their sources and present the fans with a completely new dance show. Now the main emphasis in the creativity of the project is paid to choreography, special effects, and old tracks have acquired a new, more modern sound.

And immediately in support of the words about the Quest Pistols Show, the participants on all the music channels of the country and near abroad presented their new video for the song "Santa Lucia".

The new look of virtuosic, versatile dancers came to the taste of the audience, and the new video immediately conquered all the pedestals of the charts, not only domestic, but also foreign ones. Today the team has become a favorite of demanding Russian fans.

What did the guys present in their creation? A high-quality visual picture, bright images and costumes make the video as enchanting as possible. The choreography impresses with professionalism. Opposite styles of participants create the impression of a dance dance. And, despite the new concept of the collective, which pushes the vocals to the background, the track turned out to be very euphonic and memorable. Already a few days after the rotation of the video on the air and the global network, the clip gained more than a million views.

Many music critics, and just admirers of the group's creativity expressed the opinion that the new lineup was the throat of oxygen that brought the project back to life.
