Relatively recently, the famous Chinese automaker introduced the public a new urban hatchback Cheri-Kimo. The development of this Chinese miracle, according to the company, took about five years. And its design and characteristics have not been copied from other famous cars, which, in fact, distinguishes this subcompact from other well-known "Chinese". Design

Despite the fact that the appearance of the novelty was developed by leading Italian designers, the exterior of the new "Chery-Kimo" was not very impressive. Outside, the car is very similar to many other small-displacement hatchbacks. Of course, in today's world it is quite difficult to come up with a truly impressive design, especially since it's a budget car. So it turns out that the novelty differs from other models only in the unusual form of headlight headlights and multiple moldings located along the entire perimeter of the body.

And it's not surprising, because the salon is the place where the driver is, he should feel comfortable and confident. Among the innovations is worth noting the presence of a truly high-quality upholstery, on which the developers did not save at all. The stylish central console, though it has a somewhat simple design, looks pretty good along with the rest of the interior. The instrument panel is equipped with several wells, each of which has its own measuring instrument. This form of the board, of course, gives Cheri-Kimo more solidity, but it is rather difficult to read information from it - there are too many dividing points and dashes.

In terms of technical characteristics, the new "Chery-Kimo" is not distinguished by a wide range of engines. The machine is equipped with only one gasoline engine with a capacity of 82 horsepower and a working capacity of 1.3 liters. And this unit was developed by joint efforts of Chinese and Austrian engineers from the company AVL. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It will be available in all trim levels. As for the dynamic characteristics, Chery Kimo with its weight of 1 ton can accelerate to a speed of 156 kilometers per hour. Considering that this is a budget car with a 1.3-liter engine, this figure is pretty good for the novelty. In terms of fuel consumption, it is impossible not to note the economy of the hatchback - it spends only 6.5 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers of the road.

Cheri-Kimo: price

The minimum cost of this car in the basic configuration is about 330 thousand rubles. Given such a low price, we can say with confidence that the novelty will quickly find its buyer, because European counterparts are 1.5-2 times more expensive. Therefore, in terms of cost, the new "Chery-Kimo" is beyond competition.
