Battery Recharging

If the car has a battery, and there is no need to quickly start it, you can recharge the battery with the battery charger. To do this, it must be removed from the machine and taken home, where to connect to the charger. If it is possible to connect the charger directly on the street, you need to disconnect the terminals of the car cables from the battery, and then connect the charger clamps. It is only necessary to remember that the minus terminal is first disconnected, then the positive one, and at the connection - first the plus one, then the minus one. This safety measure must be followed in order not to burn the electrician.

If there is no time or possibility to charge the battery from the charger, then you can "light" it. Under the expression "light a car" is meant recharging the battery from the other in the working unit. In this case it is necessary to find high-voltage wires and a working car. The entire procedure is as follows:

- Car "donor" is adjusted as close as possible to the non-working;

- the wire with red clamps is connected to the positive terminals of both batteries, and the black wire connects the minus terminal on the working car to the engine metal of the non-working or, if this is not possible, also with the negative terminal;

- Next, you have to start a working car and let the engine run for 10 minutes;

- turn off the car engine "donor" and try to start a car, which sat the battery;

- if the car is wound up, then let it work, if not, but the starter began to twirl more vigorously, then repeat charging;

- further it is possible to remove high-voltage wires in such sequence: first black, then red.

Running from a tug or pusher

If the battery in the car with a manual transmission has sat down , it can be tried to start from the pusher or from the tug. In this case, it is necessary to find a few people who could push the car (or the car that could take you to the tug). The sequence of actions is as follows:

- it is necessary to set the gearshift lever to the neutral position, and turn the key in the ignition lock;

- then you should start towing the vehicle;

- after acceleration of the car to 20 km / h, squeeze the clutch and switch the lever to the third speed;

- the next action should be a smooth release of the clutch pedal and podgazovyvanie, after which the machine in which the battery has sat down, should start;

- stop and, without switching off the ignition, let the engine run.
