How to make strawberry jam

The next method will take a bit more of your time. This will require one kilogram of strawberries. The berries are also sorted and washed. Then you need to prepare the syrup. Take a half cup of water and mix it with one kilogram of granulated sugar. Cook the syrup when it boils and the sugar will dissolve, pour it into the prepared strawberry berries. Then cook the jam from the strawberries for 5 minutes. Then remove it from the fire and drain the syrup. We put it on the fire and bring it back to the boil, while adding the lemon acid (2 grams). We put the berries in syrup and cook for another 5 minutes. After that, turn off the jam and after a few hours we spread it over the jars.

Another way to prepare jam from these berries is also long. First, we fall asleep one kilogram of this forest berries with the same amount of sugar. After that, leave the workpiece for several hours (8-9). After that, put the container on the fire. After boiling, cook for 5 minutes. In this case, carefully mix jam from strawberries, so as not to damage berries. This procedure should be repeated about 4-5 times. Only in this case the berries will be intact, and the final product will be beautiful. If a drop of syrup is thick and quickly freezes, the jam is completely ready. After that, we pour it into pre-prepared jars and close them with lids. Strawberry jam is kept in a cool place.
