How to cook dough for kefir pie?

The fact that kefir is a useful sour-milk product is known to everyone. But in fact it suits not only for drinking, but also for the preparation of various dishes. For example, many people like to prepare a dressing for a salad based on it, as well as summer cold soups, such as okroshki. And, of course, yogurt is used to prepare a variety of types of dough.

For example, let's make a dough for kefir pie. In order to prepare such a dough, we need a half-liter package of kefir, a packet of margarine (200 grams), three eggs (if large, then you can take two), two tablespoons of sugar, half a teaspoon of salt and flour. The amount of flour is determined during the kneading process.

We soften margarine and rub it with eggs. You can beat this mixture with a mixer. Then pour kefir into the bowl, pour sugar, soda and salt and mix well. Now start adding flour. It needs to be put so much that the dough was soft enough, as if cooked on yeast.

However, there are possible options. Dough for pie on kefir can be made semi-liquid, as for the preparation of pancakes. In this case, when baking a pie, pour half the dough into a frying pan, then gently distribute the filling, and then pour the remainder of the dough on top.

If you put more flour, the dough for kefir pie can be rolled out, forming one big pie or small pies.

Using the recipe - dough for kefir pie , you can make pastries with various fillings, both sweet and not. From this test, beautiful pies with meat, cabbage, potatoes or fish come out. For baking sweet pies in the dough, you can put more sugar, although this is already a matter of taste, because the filling of the cake will also be sweet.

And you can, using this dough, cook a cake, called kurik with potatoes. Dough for kurik on kefir is prepared according to the above-described recipe, and for the filling we take chicken meat, potatoes, onions. In addition, it will take a little butter and seasoning.

We cut potatoes and chicken meat into small pieces, and onions - thin half rings. The finished dough is divided into two unequal parts. The part that is bigger will go to the bottom of the cake, roll out the cake from it and put it on a greased baking sheet. Now we begin to spread the filling layer by layer. First, spiced chicken, then onions, then potatoes, which also need to be salted and seasoned. On top put the butter, cut into pieces. In general, when baking pies with raw potatoes, you must always use butter, otherwise the potatoes will not be baked and will crunch.

Then roll out the second part of the dough and cover our cake, patting it in a circle. We pierce the upper part of the kurik with a fork, and in the center we make a hole, so that our pie is better puffed. Bake in the oven until browned.

Using this dough, you can cook a kurik with other fillings. For example, you can replace the potato with boiled rice and add a layer of mushrooms fried in oil or boiled eggs. By the way, in the classic version of the curlin, the layers of the filling should be separated from each other by thin crepes, the dough for which can also be prepared on kefir.

In addition, kefir is an excellent basis for making a dumpling test or dumplings. Such dough is elastic, well rolled out, and products from it do not fall apart during cooking.

So, to make a dough for dumplings on kefir, take two hundred milliliters of kefir, half a teaspoon of soda, a little salt to taste and flour. As you can see, this dough is cooked without eggs.

Pour kefir into a bowl, add salt and soda and mix well. Now begin to gradually add flour, kneading the dough first with a spoon, and then with your hands. It should not be too steep, it should remain elastic.

We put the dough on the table, covered with a bowl, and leave for half an hour, in order for the gluten to swell. Now, you can roll it out and mold ravioli or vareniki.
