Tranquilizer 'Sibazon' - instructions for use of the medicine
Tranquilizer (anxiolytic) "Sibazon" instruction refers to benzodiazepine derivatives. The active substance of the drug is Diazepam (Diazepam). The considered drug to a number of consumers can be known under other names: "Seduxen", "Relanium", "Diazepam". These are all synonyms for the tranquilizer "Sibazon". This drug has a pronounced sedative and anticonvulsant effect, and is also used as a hypnotic.
Form of production of synthetic medicinal preparation "Sibazon": tablets - 0,005 in packings N-20; Rp for injection - amp. - 2ml - 0.5% - N-10. With the combined use of this tranquilizer with other hypnotics, as well as with neuroleptics and alcohol, there is a potentiating effect. Among the indications for the prescription of the drug "Sibazon", the instruction for use lists the following:
- Insomnia and other sleep disorders.
- Obsessive states, phobias.
- Alarming states, tension, fear.
- Irritability.
- Somatic pathologies, accompanied by emotional stress.
- Psychopathy, neurotic states.
- Provoked by head / spinal cord injuries, spastic conditions, as well as other pathologies of the musculoskeletal system, accompanied by muscle tension.
- Tetanus.
- Stomach ulcer.
- Abstinence syndrome.
For the treatment (preoperative preparation), and also in the periods after the operations, the "Sibazon" remedy can also be used. The instruction on the use of the medicinal product reports on its effectiveness in the treatment and relief of withdrawal symptoms for drug addiction and alcoholism.
Use this tranquilizer in dermatology to eliminate itching, and with irritation in eczema, dermatitis and other dermatological diseases. Child psychoneurological practice also provides for the use of the drug "Sibazon." Instructions for use recommend this drug with the symptoms of the above diseases, as well as enuresis, headaches, behavioral disorders, mood in children.
How is the described drug used? The appointment is determined only by the doctor individually. This tranquilizer can be addictive. Accordingly, treatment should be conducted under supervision and for a duration not to exceed two months. The repeated course of treatment can be carried out not earlier than 21 days after the withdrawal of the drug.
This drug is prescribed in tablets inside, and also in solution intravenously / intramuscularly. At the beginning of the treatment, the dose gradually rises, and after reaching the therapeutic effect, it also gradually decreases until the drug "Sibazon" is completely discontinued.
Instruction for use recommends the separation of the daily dose of the drug for several doses - 2.3. The daily dose for adult patients is from 5 to 15 mg of the drug "Sibazon". In special cases, it can be increased by a doctor to 20 mg. Dosage for children is selected in strictly individual order.
Side effects: drowsiness or vice versa sleep disorders, depression, anxiety, limb trembling, impaired coordination, memory impairment. There were also allergies in the form of rash, weakness. In some cases, hallucinations, vision problems, urinary incontinence, constipation are seen. Long-term use can lead to dependence on the "Sibazon". Symptoms of withdrawal from withdrawal include: irritability, anxiety, insomnia.
Special instructions: the use of alcohol is forbidden during treatment, patients with renal pathologies should be administered with caution. During the period of treatment, patients should refrain from engaging in any activities that imply a rapid reaction, require increased attention.
