House of aerated concrete: fineness of construction

If earlier the traditional building material was adobe or brick, then today the first positions came from materials made of cellular concrete. One of the most demanded building materials in low-rise construction is aerated concrete. Its advantages are undeniable. It is durable and yet light enough, has increased thermal insulation and at the same time does not interfere with the natural circulation of air, it is waterproof and absolutely harmless. Aerated concrete is one of the materials with an increased degree of fire safety. It does not burn. The aerated concrete house, due to its porous structure, will, to the right degree, be warm in winter and cool in summer. No less important are the parameters of width, height and length. All blocks are strictly adjusted to the same size, which allows you to perform the most accurate installation of walls and lintels, laying a flat surface. The stacking of blocks is carried out with the maximum seal, which prevents the penetration of cold air and moisture from outside through the slots. Thus, with all the technologies of erection and finishing, the houses made of aerated concrete blocks have an excellent aesthetic appearance and high performance characteristics.

Each construction begins with a foundation. The foundation for a house made of aerated concrete is suitable for anyone, but most often in case of low-rise construction lay a tape. For its production, a trench is prepared along the entire perimeter of the external walls, strictly observing the measurements specified in the design documentation. Depending on the height of the structure, the depth of the foundation can vary from 30 to 70-80 cm. Despite the fact that the house made of aerated concrete is much lighter than brick or adobe, the foundation must be strong enough. To do this, in the trench layers are stacked with rubble and rubble. Angles and partitions are reinforced with reinforcing elements. Each layer is rammed and spilled with cement.

The walls are erected all around the perimeter. Building interroom partitions, it is necessary to qualitatively carry out their binding to the bearing structures. This can be done with a special tape, or using dowels. Correctly executed binding of internal partitions will save the house from aerated concrete from the appearance of cracks. Aerated concrete - an excellent material for making interroom arches. It is easy to saw, and light weight does not require powerful supports for mounting doorways and arches. Unique physical and technical properties of the material allow the construction of structures with numerous decorative elements of varying complexity.

Buildings made of aerated concrete do not require much time for shrinkage, therefore installation of roofing structures can be made almost immediately.

The undeniable advantage of aerated concrete is its tolerance to any finishing materials. Therefore, it will not be difficult to finish interior and exterior surfaces. Having completed the work on the glazing, proceed to the design of the facade. House of aerated concrete from the outside is recommended to cover with so-called ventilated facades, using any kind of siding. This facade will allow the walls of the house to "breathe", while preserving optimal conditions for comfortable and long living.
